Height definitely plays a role here, bigger body = more energy required to make it function. As for OP's question, here my very personal opinion but I am not an expert on the matter: I am also 5'1 and was wondering the same, so I made a little research and found that the main issue with eating under 1,200 kcal a day is…

As an online dating queen here, I would say that maybe a good way to make sure you are not wasting your time (or the other person's) on a date with someone who will find excuses afterwards to demonstrate that they were not attracted to you because of your weight (and I am only saying this because you are saying that it…

Chicken breast, spaghetti squash, cauliflower with light italian dressing or melted cottage cheese in a pan, 0 calorie shirataki noodles, slow-cooker spicy cabbage soup with firm tofu and veggies.

I use intermittent fasting because it helps me staying under my calories limit - I eat from 3pm to 9pm so getting 1,200 cals in that window makes you pretty full. I allow myself to have unlimited coffee before that with almond milk. Also makes me feel more energized for long runs (8-10k), surprisingly. Heard intermittent…

I usually stitch the waistline 3-4 inches smaller so they fit perfectly on the hips and legs and feel tighter on the waist

Lamb of God, Children of Bodom... anything that has a good level of stamina and that I can airguitar on the treadmill :D

My scale changes my weight depending on where I place it since I have hardwood floors. Sometimes I treat myself by voluntarily placing it in the 'lighter' spot to start the week on a better note :D

Agree with what has been said already, plus sugar is really addictive, the more you will cut down on it the less you will crave it and crave different tastes, a bit like salt for those who want to cut down on salt. I managed to cut down on sugar some years ago by switching to stevia and fruits and cooking from scratch, but…

As someone on a 1,200 cal diet I am looking at this with tears in my eyes

Balanced. There are no ''evil'' foods and ''superfoods''. Just calories and macros/nutrients. To me a healthy diet is trying to balance good carbs, vitamins, lean proteins and good fats in a ratio that fits my needs on a daily basis with rare but important moments where I allow myself to indulge in something I've been…

Hey, I experience the same thing on C4. I have 2 different brands of pre-workout and I like to alternate to keep the tolerance level lower since the ingredients are not the same. My cardio is 50-60 mins of running on the treadmill 9km/h with an incline of 1. When I take either of them my HR is about 10 to 15 BPM lower than…

Thank you so much everyone for the tips and video! Will give it a try

I switched for Almond Milk Vanilla, 90 cal for a cup! Tastes very sweet

You should really invest in a food scale and take the extra time to weight and log everything, even if it can be really annoying. Plus MFP logins can be inaccurate so you can base yourself on this website for the calories: https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list Count the veggies, the fruits, the liquids.... At first I…

For the emotional eating / bored eating what I do is I make a big cup of tea or coffee with almond vanilla milk or earl grey and I sip on it instead of getting a snack. Not as satisfactory as food but at least it tastes sweet and fills me up :#

You don't need to justify yourself hun, let her be all salty if she wants to. There is a funny thing I noticed, women often complain that men and the big mean ''medias'' oppress them, but on a day-to-day basis all I ever see is women trying to shame, guilt and pull each other down for childish, superficial and petty…

Why are you so concerned about what she does with her time? I mean you are entitled to think whatever you want about it of course, but to come on this forum and spit your venom by writing a post about it.... Maybe you have too much time on your hands?

Agree with the two previous answers, also if I can add something : are you calculating your sodium intake? Maybe you could try to cut it a little and see if the water weight sheds off more easily.

So your breakthrough is CICO ?

Just like everyone said it is possible indeed, but I think you will be so fed up with it after 5 months of basically torturing yourself to lose so much so quickly that you'll probably snap and give up or hate it forever. Maybe try to take it slower but see it more as a long-term journey that will eventually take…

Well, if you're okay with smoothies you can always make your own from frozen bagged fruits and add either greek yogurt or soft tofu for protein.

While preparing for a date I tried to send my bestfriend pictures of me in two different dresses with the caption ''gained so much weight I feel like a sausage in both TBH'' and accidentally sent the text to said date instead.

Personally I do not eat all of my calories back, maybe 60% since machines overestimate the calories burned and we often undercalculate the calories eaten (in my case at least). Just make sure that you don't get too low too often because even if you lose weight and feel good, you may be hurting your organs in the long run.

Yeah it is one of the most efficient cardio machine for me but make sure you are using enough resistance and really working out your muscles to make the movement, and not just ''bouncing'' or ''going with the flow'' of the machine.
