  • Real. No doubt. I'm supposed to start tomorrow and yesterday I felt like I didn't eat enough food. Even though what I eat normally doesn't leave me hungry. I'm always ravenous a couple days before I start. And last night I allowed myself to have a snack size Snickers it's 80 calories, but it allowed me to feel a little…
  • It's happened to all of us. Bad food just tastes SO darn good! One thing I've realized in all my years of fitness and healthy eating is that you haven't indulge sometimes. If you don't eventually you'll derail yourself worse. 3 days isn't that bad. Just make up your mind to get back on track. And give yourself that one…
  • It was towel dried. I always weigh with towel dried hair after my shower.
  • Yes I ate yesterday. Friday. Nothing unhealthy. Wasn't above my sodium allowance or fat allowance. Not even my carb allowance. All week I was super strict with everything I ate. Down to macros. I exercised only cardio this week. No strength training at all. This morning when I weighed I hadn't had anything to eat since my…
  • Yay for that! I love diet coke.
  • OMG! I weighed at 9 am Saturday morning. I ate out at 5 pm Saturday evening. There was NOTHING in my stomach. I weighed hours and hours before I ate anything bad.
  • I weighed before I went out to eat.around 9am. Before 5pm today I hadn't eaten anything that was unhealthy at all.
  • I also drank soda today. It was diet but I'm sure the sodium is still high in it too. Only one bottle of water. So you may be right.
  • Anyone do post workout drinks? I often feel like I could down an entire bottle of Pedialyte after.
  • Walmart has an energy drink mix?! Why didn't anyone tell me! All the money spent mixing my own...
  • I love the way you put that. Thanks! I have diagnosed OCD so it makes things hard for me. It's mostly me just HAVING to have my house spotless. Or being Uber organized. I wouldn't say I have any odd habits from it other than what I stated, but every aspect of my life is planned out. Granted things don't always go as…
  • Hi! I know what I'm about to tell you goes against everything you've probably been told, but I advocate a pre bedtime snack. Even before I read the article I'm going to link you, I would always have a tablespoon of reduced fat peanut butter before bed. I'm addicted to peanut butter. Well, peanuts in general. When I was…
  • I work out in the evenings as well. It's the only time I have. Cuz heaven forbid I get up earlier. Lol. I fall asleep much faster when I've had an exhausting workout.
  • That's interesting! I find I wake earlier in the morning when I've been on a good workout routine/eating "right". Like I'm less tired, which doesn't really make sense either, cuz I workout as hard as my body will let me. My knees are pretty bad too. My left is worse than my right. I put Bengay on them and put the stretchy…
  • I find that I'm hungry when I don't have enough carbohydrates. Granola bars are great for that. Or just granola. I don't know if you eat grains or not though. I drink bolthouse drinks (8 Oz at a time) for carbohydrates and sugar. I add 2 tablespoons of Chia seeds to them and it keeps me full for a while. Also almonds and I…
  • I find myself in your situation daily. Non healthy eating I could hit 1200 thrice. But when I'm tracking, and trying to hit certain goals (specific % carbs, fat and protein) I find myself wondering "what can I eat?!" I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks if I can so I feel like I'm eating all day! And I am. Once you add in the…
  • Hi! And welcome! We are all here to support and help. I've been a healthy lifer since the age of 16 except the last 2 years when I was just kind of fed up counting calories, fat, carb and this percentage and that percentage. Macro nutrients and I just threw caution to the wind for 2 years. I'm back, and up 10 pounds (soon…
  • I've been horrified lately when I see commercials for random different medications. They all seem to cause "suicidal thoughts or actions" (something to that effect) I'll keep my gout and live thanks!
  • Did I not say SEVERAL times that I read it?! Did I not say I wasn't sure and to Google it? I read it on a website WEEKS ago looking up healthier alternatives to pre bottled smoothies and expensive health drinks. I don't know what website it was. Hence saying to check it out on your own. I was simply stating what I read,…
  • OK WOW! I WASN'T AWARE WE WERE HERE TO ATTACK EACHOTHER! MY BAD. I SAID SUPPOSEDLY. I ALSO SAID I READ IT SOMEWHERE. I ALSO SAID I READ ABOUT THE TEETH WHITENING THING. I WAS NOT ENDORSING A BRAND OR TURMERIC. I WAS JUST SAYING WHAT I HAD READ. THE OTHER THING I WROTE WAS BASICALLY A TL DR OF WHAT THAT WEBSITE SAID. THAT…
  • I don't buy anything in pretty packaging. I speak with my Dr about everything I take before I take it. I have a sluggish thyroid, hormonal imbalances because of having my tubes tied very young and I also have very many deficiencies caused by my hormone replacement meds. I take b complex and DHEA, evening primrose oil,…
  • Basically it helps detoxify the liver (the organ most responsible for fat burning)

  • HI, I take L-lysine too. And the digestive enzymes, as well as magnesium and Hyland's homeopathic for restless legs. Ever since I had my daughter I've had it awful.
  • Armistane blocks estrogen. Or prevents it in a way. Probably not best for a female with known hormonal imbalance to take. Lol.
  • Has anyone tired chromium, L-glutamine, DHEA or liquid iodine? What about Forskolin with L-Carnitine? What about this armistane can I get it at my local vitamin store? I get bad carb bloat. Unfortunate, since carb loading is essential sometimes. How about Gamma linolenic acid? I've recently been doing a lot of research and…
  • Turmeric is supposedly great for you. I've read it's a great inflammatory. As well as its benefits to helping facilitate weight loss. I'm big into natural supplements. Not "diet pills" pushed by big companies. We all know that there's no magic pill. It's a lifestyle change and working with portion control, eating the right…
