I also wanted to add: when I started using MFP I found that sugar was the sole reason why I can't reach my goal but will be very soon because I have finally admitted to myself that it does affect me and the way I feel. I have decided to try limiting deserts and unecessary sweets.

Oh my, this is exactly my issue. I find that on day when I eat a lot of sugar, I'm craving sugar all the time. It's like smoking. Same thing here, I have 3 kids and gym is not an option! I've done the 12 hours shift before,and alternating night-day shifts. The only way I have been able to fit this in was to do 15 min run on my treadmill in the am and another 15 min in the evening. Or 10-20. Whatever works for you

I was going to the gym at 5am 3-4 times a week with a buddy but was struggling to be on time for the gym classes so I decided to quit the gym and try to exercise at home in the am instead. Well this is not going well. I wake up at 5:45 I make myself a coffee and sit on the couch.

Yup! I hear you! Sometimes I would have 30 minutes but by the time I change my cloths + do a few things on the side BOOM there's just 15-20 min left so I lose my motivation, thinking " i don't want to do all this just for 15min".
