  • I tried last month, got up at 345am to be at the gym by 4am and then out of the gym by 525a, to be at work by 6am. That was short lived. If I have the urge to get up early, 4am is my time and stay home and use my elliptical. The only set back, is that the rest of my house is sleep and I want to crank up the music, urghh.
  • Alternate with which ever you are in the mood for, but do something daily. Taking the weekends off is ok, but just don't over indulge. Have you thought of a spin class that has an instructor that changes up the classes daily, so your not doing the same thing over an over?
  • Have you considered tuna outside of the typical can?, like Ahi Tuna, raw? There is a recipe for it, called Spicy tuna poke. I wrap it in romaine lettuce and it's delicious.
  • I have yet to try it, but I'm looking forward to it. Numerous coworkers have tried it and really enjoyed it.
  • Be realistic with yourself and find activities that motivate you; biking- join a spin class, running - find friends that you can job/run with or rollerblading. Find music for weight lifting that will keep your motivation going and keeps you enthused. Good luck, you got this.
  • Yoga is great for the core. I enjoy yoga in a "hot box"/infared red sauna. The calories burned are amazing and the session is only 30mins.
  • Making my own omelets; 2 eggs, 2 slices of turkey bacon, chopped onion, mushroom and feta cheese, comes to over 300 calories. I didn't think it would add up to so many calories.
  • Raised in Houston, TX but now living in frigid Wisconsin.
