  • I made it past day one. I had chocolate milk to substitute. Still 150 calories +/-, but it still wasn't alcohol!! I find that as long as I'm drinking something, it doesn't necessarily have to be alcohol - sometimes it's water too. Chocolate Nestle Quick milk sounded really good though.
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. I exercised for 34 minutes - an 18 minute walk and a 16 minute run Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Thanks to my run, I have 215 calories left over Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.
  • @JeromeBarry1 - there was supposed to be more, but post got cut and it wasn’t deleted like requested

  • June 1 Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes (2 break time walks equaling 18 minutes and a Daily Burn tabata workout for 15 minutes) Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - thanks to the help of Daily Burn, but would have been within only 50 calories over if I didn't do Daily Burn Did I keep track of…
  • I've read most of you want AF Sun - Thurs? Me too with moderation on the weekend. I kind of compare myself drinking like I did when I used to smoke - "after this bottle of wine (or six pack of apple cider) I won't get any more", but I will eventually. But, I have a liquor store within walking distance (not that I'm that…
  • Wasn't really thinking about ice cream until I read your post. Now I want some (and don't have any).
  • @MJsStory - it was too complicated as far as the programed workouts (run, interval training, etc.). Half the time I was missing the correct workout because of timing/equipment response issues. I find it easier just to push the button on the side of the HR and figure out the appropriate workout when I'm done.
  • Waiting. . . waiting. . . and more waiting. Ordered a Fitbit Charge HR off eBay last week - I tried the Charge2 and hated it. Anyway, Ebay says it won't be here until tomorrow, USPS says "it's in transit to next facility" as of this morning and that it should be here by 8:00. I just want to know how the package skipped me…
  • New to the challenge. I have about 30 lbs to lose. My program of choice is Daily Burn - I've set my goal on there to exercise at least 3x/wk. I've recently fallen off the diet and exercise wagon, so I'm starting small to get back into the rhythm of things. I'm trying to eat healthier and I'm back up to eating at least two…
  • It's scary to admit. I'll be 40 in Aug. I really don't feel that old.
  • I'm in. But, I want to know how to join the group. I tried once and got an error message when I answered why I wanted to joint the group, I tried again and thought I was "approved by leader" but I still get a message that says I need to join the group to view it's content and the "join" button has disappeared.
  • Original starting weight - 157.4 (from 4/16/17) April starting weight - 162.4 (eep :/ ) April goal -159 Ultimate goal - 140 April 1 - 162.4 April 8 - 162.4 April 15 - 162.6 Ok! Now that I have "doable" numbers in front of me, I think I can do it. I just want to be out of the 160's again. It's been since Oct, when I was at…
  • @evelasquez3 - I love Daily Burn! Though you won’t have a one-on-one personal trainer, you’ll have a full FB and Twitter community where most of the trainers keep in touch with you (at least they do on FB, I don’t have Twitter acct). Everyone is completely supportive if you have an NSV or if you post a bad day there’s…
  • This was in February. As I was starting Daily Burn Today, my 7 month anniversary and finished with kickboxing for the day.
  • I found that an at-home workout is for me. I have a subscription to Daily Burn and pay $14.95 (cheaper than a gym) and I have the convenience of not having to muster the energy to just drive to the gym before even start the workout. I also set my workout schedule to at least 5x a week, so if I don't workout one night it's…
  • I do this too
  • I use Sharper Image, got at. BB & B for $24 https://m.bedbathandbeyond.com/m/product/sharper-image-reg-precision-digital-food-scale/1017490583?keyword=Food%20scale
  • Only two months ago was the before pic taken. I do Daily Burn 5-6 times per week. Though I've not lost many pounds I've, obviously, lost inches. :)
  • I'll usually thumbs up an exercise post, but not usually the diary post. I'm with you though, I wish the automatic posts wouldn't bury the meaningful ones.
  • @rachelbeirne - I have since updated my friends from posting something similar on someone else thread (didn't mean to). I'm still trying to weed out the good from the bad. You can add me if you want.
  • Mine is about 1700ish. I do Daily Burn, it's mix of cardio and strength, everyday. I'm 5'6 and 160#
  • @seepersaud, @NikkiLien2017, @yomycc - I sent all of you friend requests because I need help keeping up my accountability and motivation and with my current "friends" I feel I'm doing this on my own (have since deleted some of them).
  • @Laviegurl25 and @JessiBelleW - thank you for noticing. I've been lazier than usual this week, but I just completed another session of Daily Burn and read your messages. It gives me the encouragement not to give up.
  • Thank you so much for posting. More often than not I wonder why I put in all the hard work if it doesn't show on the scale. I've lost as much as 5 lbs, but frustratingly no more than that. My pix are only a month apart (Feb. and Mar. (too early for an Apr. one)), but I do Daily Burn almost everyday and I try to eat like I…
  • I just posted something similar in my feed today. That for the past couple weeks I've been eating closer to maintenance than a deficit. At first I felt guilty about it, but this week not so much. I realize that even on the days I eat over my calorie goal it still comes in at a "maintenance" level because I did bother to…
  • Ha! I thought I was the only one. Just last week I uttered "I'm tired of being cold all the time." I finally took a fleece blanket with me to work Friday and Saturday I bought curtains to keep the winter chill out of my living room.
  • You know. . . I didn't think I had a (hmmm, what's another word for fat?) face in February. Then I found a selfie of myself from December 2015 and knew I had some more recent ones than that. The "after" pic was taken earlier today. B)
  • @Alaterial - I'm not really "cheating" either. Just eating more than I've gotten used to.
