  • Starting Weight: 207 Ultimate goal weight: 130 R13 (my first) SW 206.8 R14 SW 203.2 R14 Goal: 202 Round 2 for me. I really like the 10 day commitment. It breaks down an otherwise impossible goal into manageable segments. Thanks for having me! 8/21 - 202.8 - after a weekend, I'll take it. Back to eating on point, no alcohol…
  • You might not be eating enough. Have you been weighing all your food and logging it?
  • @olga5454 I think you have a typo on your latest entry!
  • I'd like more information please!
  • @SezxyStef That was my original thought as well.
  • Oh, I'm not judging. Well, ok I guess I am. But I see your point and never really thought about it that way. Thank you.

  • ^^^ THIS. Although I rarely actually make it to 5 months. I usually fall off somewhere in month 2. The first month is the EASIEST! All the motivation to get it done, new meals to try out, etc. Plus I love seeing the first few pounds melt off which often happens the first month. Then it slows down. The motivation is harder…
  • Why are you waiting?! Start TODAY! Have one less bite. Drink one more glass of water. etc...
  • Haha! That's so true! My horse knew what she was doing and if I couldn't spot the distance she didn't care. Hold the hell on because we are leaving!!!
  • Funny because I always think the first month is the easiest! You're motivated and on track .... until a bump in the road totally derails you.
  • Whoa! Eventing always scared the crap out of me. Good for you. At least if you crash into a jump on the jumpers course it would come down. You crash into a huge tree log it 'ain't going anywhere! Lol
  • What kind of competition? Jumpers were always my favorite
  • The good 'ol days .....
  • I used to ride for years .... from when I was 9 until my 20s. Was on the equestrian team at my college and lucky enough to buy a horse when I graduated. Then adult-hood set in and I had to sell her. I was always in the best shape of my life when I was riding and at the barn every day. I haven't ridden in years because I've…
  • HAHA! Same thing happened to me today! I even stepped on the scale 30 minutes later because I swear it was broken. But nope, got the same (AWESOME) number!

  • Have you thought about seeing an endocrinologist vs just seeing your GP? Do you have any other symptoms of low thyroid besides difficulty losing weight?
  • Mine is open too. But I'm a super picky eater. Like a toddler. You may not find it useful but feel free to look.
  • I have tried for YEARS to get my extra weight off. But I never really found the true motivation until recently. I was trying to give my son a bath and I physically could not bend over into the tub to wash him. I was disgusted with myself. How did I let it get this bad? I'm 5'1" tall and my highest weight was 209.…
  • I love all kinds of breads. And crackers. Basically, anything with an insane amount of carbs. However it does NOTHING for me. I know I need to reduce carbs (not to the extreme of keto) to lose weight. So I haven't been buying any kind of bread or cereal or crackers. I'm even eating burgers & hot dogs without the buns! I do…

  • I am! I'm very active here but mostly a forum lurker. I'd love an accountability partner! I am 38, 5'1" and currently weight 203 lbs. my goal is 130. I've tried to lose weight so many times but I am committing that this time will be different!
  • I actually did this today just to see what would happen. Lowest weight was 202.4 and highest was 204. No exercise today, 200 over calorie goal and I drank about 105 oz of water. The ups and downs happen. If you can't deal with the upswings, my advice is to weigh yourself less frequently.
  • THANK YOU!!!! this makes me feel so much better. I'm tired of people telling me I have to eat breakfast!
  • I want to lose 70+ lbs .... VERY motivated - unlike the million other times I've tried to lose weight, this is my last time "trying" because I will DO IT! About a month ago I was trying to give my son a bath. I am so fat I couldn't even lean over into the tub to wash him. I was disgusted with myself, so here I am. So far…

  • I haven't had a thyroidectomy but basically my thyroid is non existent. At one point my tsh was over 200! My doctor basically told me they had no idea how I was still alive with that level. I don't currently see an endocrinologist, but probably should. My family practice doctor is working with me to control my levels which…
