Logged for 500 days in a row. While I am at a plateau for the last two months (a week-long vacation in Mexico in April, Mother's day, Memorial day weekend, among other excuses), I am still amazed at how far I've come in those 500 days - 80 lb lost, sizes 10/M from 20W/3X, consistent almost daily exercise (Zumba and weight…

Funny, I've done the same thing last Sunday - 5.5 mile hike turned into 7.8 miles, due to a detour to look at a nearby waterfall...

Ok, an update, I am now at 188 lbs as of last week, which means whatever lbs I gained in Mexico are gone and took with them a couple of more pounds  Next goal: 185 lb by the end of June or earlier

OMG!! What have you been doing in those 2 months to change like that????

I went through an assessment yesterday to determine what my max weights are: Bench Press: 105 lb Squat: 185 lb Dead Lift: 205 lb I am very impressed with my strength :) And looking forward to see what new new PR will be in a couple of months of consistent weight training...

I am on vacation in Mexico and am wearing single piece swimsuits but in sizes 10 and M! I don't remember the last time I wore in those sizes! And those swimsuits don't have any skirts :)

I did it! 190.0 as of this morning!!just in time before going on vacation, gain some more pounds and then start losing to reach that magical number yet again  But I know I can do it - this is not first vacation I've taken since my weight loss journey started in January of last year...

This is a very beautiful dress and you look amazing in it!

To get into 180s - 1.3 lbs to go. That would also mean the total loss of 80 lbs

Went downhill skiing yesterday, and a friend of mine convinced me to try blue runs (I was happily sticking to my green run previously). Sooo, the blue runs are much steeper than the green ones, and I ended up falling a few times (surprise, surprise). My NSV was that I was able to stand up, get my skis back and continue…

400 day streak! the last 35 days had been relatively slow from the scale prospective, but I certainly continue staying on the track. Hope to see 1000 day streak one day :)

Thank you very much Karen :) The journey continues, 382 days streak, a couple of more achievements I am proud of: 1) just completed 30 day abs and butt workouts. Once we celebrate my hubby's birthday (this weekend), I still start another one. Any suggestions? 2) yesterday went to a climbing gym with my youngest kid and…

Today I hit 366 day streak. Went downhill skiing with my family yesterday for the first time after many many years. Darn, 70 lb lighter feels so good! I was able to go down the slope seven times in a couple of hours we spent there and not fall even a single time :) Mind you, it was one of the easier slopes but still :) Could have done more runs if it…

A have a couple of NSVs today. 1) This morning I reached ONEDERLAND!! Finally, after a couple of months hanging just that close to crossing that boundary!!! 70 lb down, 50 to go... 2) At the end of October I went to Russia to see my sister and actually "stole" a couple of size 14 jeans from her (she said they fit me…

Talking about dancing - I looove dancing, and my youtube Zumba collection consists mostly of videos with Latin upbeat music. So a couple of months ago there was an open air concert, where the last hour we had a band that played Gypsy Kings/Spanish guitars kind of music. They played for an hour. I danced through that whole…

Went to Vegas with my husband for 2 days to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Ended up walking 30K and 33K steps in those two days (breaking the previous record of 28.5K when walking all over Paris in summer), eating all we wanted once per day, watching two great shows, watching Bellagio fountains from our room in Bellagio -…

Two days ago I decided to repeat the experience, to confirm that it wasn't a fluke. And it wasn't! I was able to go farther (4 km instead of 3.5) and faster (8 min per km instead of 9 min per km last time). My husband was proud of me, and so was I

Not related to food/weight but to the new dedication I found when I joined MFP. I went to Paris with my family this August. I had some rudimentary French but decided to improve my skills and installed Duolingo app on my phone in April. Well, I certainly improved my French by the time we went to Europe but today I completed…

300 days of consecutive logging, and I tracked food for the vast majority of those days (barring vacation travels and such)! Next goal - 365 days (the whole year)...

Reading all the comments about how people start running/jogging/"plodding", I got inspired and today, when our family (my hubby, kids and I) went for a long walk along a river from one park to another, I decided to try jogging and see how far I can go. I really planned to run just 200 steps, then 1000, then... I jogged the…

After reading through this thread for months (I am currently on page 493) and getting a LOT of inspiration by all of those who have the courage to post, I am finally ready (and happy!) to report my own Non-Scale and Scale Victories. Today I logged for 255 days in a row (and was logging my food for most of those days with…
