They're delicious. I make them into waffles for chicken and waffles. I quarter and freeze the waffles when there are leftovers, and they reheat well in the toaster for a weekday breakfast.

If you're hungry and not just bored/snacks, eat a healthy snack, log it and get on with it. Don't live hungry, hunger will steal your ability to live in the present.

Fruit is delicious and is very nutritious. Eat reasonable portions and enjoy.

My theory: Spicy or acidic foods may have irritated your stomach, causing acute pain during following meal--even if they are unseasoned or reasonably acid neutral. I find as I get older that I can't handle spice as well as I used to or wish I could.

Some people are trying their best to fight a losing battle, and if we feel like we do everything/know everything there is, we gain some kind of control over the uncontrollable--or at least absolve ourselves of the guilt we've accumulated and feel superior by being able to say, "at least I try unlike all these others. See?…

I loved the episode, big thumbs up.

Does your spouse roll the wrappers up into a gross little coil?

I want to echo the above comments that say you need more joy in your life. Go out and grab it, even if depression and self-doubt tell you not to. It's your birthright. Take it!

Before dinner.

Ooo, good tip. I didn't even think of that. I'm going to see if I can do it now: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/tabletop_joe

Wow! I have to say that I find it weirdly comforting to learn that a person as attractive as you (you're just about as cute as they come!) struggles with self-image. As in, maybe a lot of people do and it's not just me! I also feel bad that you've gone through all that because I know how it is. Good work on your weight…

It'll blow your mind how easy it is to make a great chai tea latte at home with lower calories, better flavor, and higher quality ingredients. Most Starbucks drinks aren't far removed from the stuff that squirts out of the machine at the gas station. Nothing wrong with liking it, but it's lousy for you and you can do…

Hey, Chillsters. I like this group and I would like to join. I'll open my diary right after I post this. Stay frosty!

Have you considered volunteering part time for an organization that works in a field that interests you? I know it's hard to be interested in much of anything while depressed, but if you can think back to a time you were happy and think about what would've gotten your spark going, you can call them and ask if they'd like a…

So can a lot of things. The OP knows it's due to PCOS, though.

I just wanted to comment to let you know that I hear you and I believe in you.

You keep doing what you're doing; you're doing wonderfully and I think your grasp of the situation is exactly right. Keep talking about it, too! It's the only way we can work against this deeply-ingrained women-hating-women nonsense. Women need to support other women, or at least not serve as yet another hindrance. It's…

I used to feel terrible in hot weather. It wasn't just being hot and uncomfortable, I would feel dizzy and sick. This is the first summer that I have been able to really enjoy in my adult life, and I finally see what all the hoopla is about re: summer.

PS I've been thinking about dying my armpit hair green. :)

+1 to @Cheesy567 's comment. Great work on the loss! It sounds like you're a very determined, hardworking person to commit to such a big change on top of the challenges of a difficult pregnancy and brand spankin' new parenthood! I'm so glad you're happy with your new lifestyle! It's good that your relationship was at a…

@Coleteo Hair loss and fatigue may not be tied to a specific nutrient deficiency, but to insufficient calorie intake. Taking a multivitamin is a good idea because the odds of have a nutrient deficiency on such a small amount of food are pretty good, but eating a few hundred more calories per day is advised to stop the…

I noticed that my posture has improved tremendously. I couldn't stand this straight before, as hard as I tried--especially my upper back/neck region. I did go through a period of shoulder discomfort. I wonder if that was related to my spine straightening?

I'm just tearing through My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix. This book is a lot of fun--I recommend it if you love trashy teen thrillers from the 80's and 90's. A+.
