I had a coworker who would ask me this all the time just to be mean. I say ignore it. If they ask again, just don't even engage with them. Act like you didn't hear them.

You're due for a campaign of awesome! It's easy to kick righteous, tubular excellence down the road until you've "fixed" your problems, until you're some mythical version of yourself that's worthy of living it up. GUESS WHAT THOUGH, QUEEN: You can do that now. Get mad stoked about life and live it, the weight loss stuff…

I'm just glad to see a post about someone who's clearly enjoying their body and their life. Thank you for sharing, I loved reading this.

I'm sorry you're going through a tough time. I've found having forward-looking plans in the works, whether it be some project or self-improvement goal, can help me cope with stressful situations. It makes me feel like even if things are crap today, I'm working towards new and better things for tomorrow. That said, it's…

Hey girl. I'm mostly into first and second wave of British heavy metal, extra kvlty deep-frozen black metal and stoner/doom. I like artsy metal-inspired stuff too, "world" music and oddities. Your basic metal hipster dweeb. Feel free to add me though the whole weight loss thing is somewhat on the back burner at the…

Great style! I love a well-considered floral print and I see you do too!

For my splurge, I like to get their fries and cup of chili, or sandwich with side salad! Yummy and not as heavy as getting a combo meal thing.

The men of MFP are killin' it! Great work, boys!

10 lbs/month is a reasonable and sane rate of loss. Was some of it water? Probably, especially early on. I think most people who point out the water weight phenomenon do so to let the poster know that the first month can be a rapid loss time and folks shouldn't expect to continue to lose at that rate. And others just like…

If you don't have abuse issues or Rx conflicts with alcohol, maybe have a small glass of very hoppy, low alcohol content beer with your dinner. Beer is relaxing to drink and some studies suggest the phytoestrogens (though very low) in the hops can effect hormone levels in humans. And if it doesn't work for you, you can…

Write a list of Pros & Cons. If the Pros outweigh the Cons, keep going knowing that your decision was made rationally. The same is true if the Cons win out. It's important to make these decisions dispassionately because dieting can be hard on the mind and emotions.

My divorced parents had different takes on this: one didn't say a thing and the other said incredibly damaging things about our weight, their weight, weight loss, food and nutrition etc. Neither approach worked--all siblings had weight issues--but I feel like saying nothing was at least fairly neutral in that it didn't…

It's unkind for him to put the burden of responsibility on you. Tell him his irrational suspicion hurts your feelings, then reassure him that you're not cheating. Then let him deal with his feelings like an adult; no amount of frilly things will help him get over his jealousy--he has to look his feelings in the face and…

Because it's a bummer and it takes time for it to pay off. If you are like me and have a hard time finding joy in the process, consider setting goals with rewards that you will not receive ever unless you hit your goals.

Why not? Is there some kind of merit system involved in how you lost weight? I say include it.

Geez, they weren't kidding when they called it the "Internet of Everything".

Don't overthink it. Stay under your calorie allotment and enjoy your bread in moderation. All these fitness geek number games will make it harder than it has to be.

Dang, being a teen is tough. Smart enough to see through well-meaning adult's best efforts but without the tools and experience to pilot the ship alone. I just wanted to lend some support. Good luck to you and your daughter. May your love for each other guide you through! :)

Do you drink enough water? It might be dehydration.

Could it be bacterial?

+1 Mitchum gel. It doesn't trash my clothes, either.

Eating ain't cheating. Have a nice meal occasionally if you like to! It'll keep you from fetishizing food--or it does for me, anyhow!

I'm glad you're here! I'm really excited for you and I think you'll be amazed how helpful this community can be. :)

A weekly cheat meal, if you wanna call it that, can help expel water weight. A couple hundred extra calories won't slow fat loss by a lot if excericise is adjusted to mitigate. I say do whatever helps keep you happy and working toward your goals--this strategy isn't for everyone, but I like it!

It might be that keto + IF are too demanding combined for you. It would be for me. Maybe decide which one is making getting back to your plan hard, and then go with the other--making sure to log your foods accurately and stay at your daily calorie goals. I'm not great with structure, personally. Maybe you're not either and…

Did someone plant a tree? There's suddenly a lot of shade. Weight loss doesn't have to suck. It really doesn't. Eat well while keeping your calories in range, move in ways that you like, and enjoy a full range of experiences along the way. Best of luck, OP!

+1 for the clearance rack! This is a great time of year to get things you can layer economically.

I bet people tell you this constantly: You have exceptionally beautiful eyes. Good work in your weight loss!

My goodness, hats off to you, sir!
