I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement. You go get those treats and feel good and proud of what you've done. :)

Don't look the gift horse in the mouth. And lucky you!

Congratulations on your weight loss! Your doctor is probably less concerned about your stats because you have lost so much. If they'd risen before your weight loss, it would be a totally different story. A possible reason for your results: Some people up fats for a variety of reasons when they cut calories. They feel…

And I beefed the quote coding^^^. Sorry!

Does anyone remember the Fig Newton thins? My favorite was banana with dark chocolate.

Occasionally eating what I want when I want to, rather than planning and weighing and logging ahead of time like I usually do, helps prevent me from throwing this whole "lifestyle change" in the dumpster and therefore helps with weight loss. I don't think it helps in any other sense, though; not for me, anyway.

I used to get sores on the roof of my mouth that I thought were cankers. It was actually related to night time teeth grinding. I got a night guard and haven't had them since. If it is really canker sores, Abbreva helps a lot if you catch it early enough. Either way, a sore hurts! Get some topical numbing agent like Oragel…

I think I see what you're doing and I'm glad it's working for you in the short term, but I have a few questions I want to ask you because I would feel bad if I didn't raise them--you are such a nice person and I feel like part of supporting others is asking questions if something doesn't sit right. Please don't feel…

I don't think it hurts to not feel fat. Rock on. And rock in with all your goals, too. I often feel foxy and slim even though I'm not really either. No one gets hurt. :D

You're my hero. I am definitely not going "ewww"!

I aim for 3/4 of my water intake to come from actual water. I find my skin looks a lot better with that kind of intake. It may be coincidence, but I'm not willing to rock the boat to find out! I like water anyway.

I do it every day because I love it. I just budget a couple hundo calories to devote to it and choose my snacks well.

Do you think it's possible that by doing everything "right" for so long (and to, quite frankly, fabulous results), that you've repressed yourself? Your will power may be too good. You might now be seeing months and months of denied and tamped-down wants bubbling to the surface. My advice: Keep doing what you're doing for…

RE: Tortillas Take solace! There's a 50/50 (half corn, half flour) blue tortilla by Tortilla Factory that's 90 calories each. I love them and they're a lot easier to include occasionally than those 200 calorie per pop guys.

The charts are generic, you are unique. My broad shoulders, ribs and wide pelvis will not be seeing the other side of 150, ever. My head alone is super big! Don't set an ultimate weight goal; it's too overwhelming. Go 10 lbs at a time and when you start to see how things are shaping up, you'll get a better idea of where…

Vitamin E and collagen help me. St. Ives has one, so it doesn't need to be expensive. I also take a hair, skin & nails beauty supplement containing biotin and other skin-beneficial ingredients. I take the candy version by GNC. Your best bet it to drinks a lot of water every day. Nothing else, aside from building muscle,…

I weigh every morning and log any loss no matter how small. I only log gains if they stick around for a while. Doing it this way has been successful in keeping me excited and engaged in the process. I basically jump out of bed every morning to see what Santa brought me. ^_^ That said, I have my weigh-in notifications…

Sorry, I know it's a hard and painful thing to go through. But the "unAmerican" thing made me laugh. XD

I'm starting Today Will Be Different by Maria Semple. I loved Where'd You Go, Bernadette, so I'm excited.

32, 1 kid, 5'6" and about 100 lbs to lose. It took me about 2 months to drop 30, but I started at a high weight. The first 15 practically fell off.

FYI If you have Aldi stores near you, they have these great cushions with handles right now that are perfect for bleachers. I picked up a couple yesterday--my coccyx can't handle those bleachers at all.

^OMG, where do you even work? The cute people factory? Adorable'R'Us? Good for you and your group!

Great job! You're where I'm headed and I can't wait. :) You project a really fun personality from all your photos. Thanks for sharing!

I can't be very specific due to MPF community standards, but Colorado has certain freedoms that may enhance whatever dining experience you inevitably choose.

Also makes for a fun response when coworkers ask, "What are your plans tonight?"
