I put my breastfeeding calories in my exercise tracking. I've always done about 500kcal a day for bfing but my son is almost nine months old and is eating more food so now it's starting to fluctuate more which is making it hard for me to figure out my bulking calories, but as long as your feeding your baby generally the…

I saw a recipe on Pinterest the other day for butternut squash Alfredo that substitutes the squash for cream. I haven't tried it, but it sounded like a delightful concept

I started feeling better almost immediately actually because I was finally getting smaller and not bigger lol. I'm now a little over 7 months pp and have lost about 40lbs and am under my prepregnancy weight

I started my fitness and weight loss journey when I was three months pp too :) I'll add you

Hello! I'm also a breastfeeding mom who couldn't lose weight just by breastfeeding. I actually weighed more 3 months pp then i did nefore giving birth. For the past 3 months I've been tracking my calories and macros, and working out with hiit bodyweight workout at home. I've lost 2 lbs a week consistently and I eat about…

My son is going to be six months old tomorrow and we're getting family photos done. For said photos, I got this dress three weeks ago that is relatively form fitting and wasn't really flattering at all when I first got it. I kept it but left the tags on thinking that I'd exchange it for a bigger one if it didn't fit by…

Thanks for the response :# I know I want to keep up with my healthy lifestyle but this plateau has been hard on my motivation. I'm not to fond of brewers yeast but maybe if I find the right recipe I can deal with it better. Good job getting over your plateau

True but it can be a symptom of it .

You should be proud :) way to go!

I have a 5 month old little boy. I love making new healthy mom friends

I'm on week 10 of a healthier life and I've lost 17 lbs, so it's doable but you really have to be determined. I am breast feeding my five month old so I can still eat a lot and often which helps, but I also count my macros and work out 5 days a week so I definitely still have out a lot of effort into it. However as pp have…

I'm not an expert but if really recommend uping your calories. 1200c is the bare minimum requirement for women- just the calories you burn from being alive, breathing, sleeping, and this is only on average. It doesn't account for any activity and if you're working out that hard. Your deficit is so high that your metabolic…

I comfortably wore my prepregnancy pants to work yesterday. Next mini goal is to get to 154 by my baby's half birthday which is the 29th of may. Which would it my remaining loss goals into the teens! That gives me nine pounds to lose in 5 weeks and I've been losing two lbs a week so it's doable as long as I stay on track.

Hiit is high intensity interval training. Do you eat back any of your exercise calories?
-
It sounds like your fighting with post partum anxiety and depression. Have you talked to your doctor about any of these things at all? I'm five months pp and have been dealing with these issues as well and for me eating healthy and exercising has helped combat feelings of self loathing and lack of confidence of my…

Hello! My little guy is almost 5 months old and I have 28 lbs left to loose but I'm trying to lose 45 all together. I'm breast feeding as well and usually net between 1300-1500 calories depending on my activity level. I am ebf as well as doing hiit work outs five times a week and i have been consistantly loosing 2 lbs…

So when I was in high school I was pretty severely anorexic and I lost 70 lbs in 4 to 5 months. Even though I was underweight I was never happy. I was cold and sad and weak. Now at 22 I've recovered and had a baby which caused me to gain it all back. I'm eating a balanced diet with enough calories and working out. My…

Trying to comfortably fit in my prepregnancy pants. I'm down to my prepregnancy weight and I can get them up but my belly still hangs over them weirdly.

I'm 5' 6" and I've lost 12 recorded pounds since the beginning of march. I didn't have a scale the first week so it might be a little more. From 180+ to 168 and my goal is 135. I have a way to go, but I'm feeling successful so far.

I'm 4 months post partum and only 2 lbs above my pregnancy weight. However I was overweight to begin with so I'm still trying to lose 35 more. My goal is to get there by his first birthday and I'm feeling confident.

I'm 22 as well and trying to live a healthy life to be a good example for my son. I was skinny in high school due to anorexia but gained it all back. Now i'm really trying my best to have a healthy relationship with myself and food.

I probably buy a bottle of wine every other week and will have a 4-5oz glass a night until its gone. I do make sure to weigh it out though and the rest of my diet is pretty clean so its usually my one treat for the day. ETA I also make sure I still have a deficit of at least 100c after I drink my one glass.

Personally I haven't tried these specific videos but I second youtube workouts. I've been trying to find mommy and me workouts and most of them are around 10 minutes long so I'll do two or three on a good day. My little guy is about 4 months old and he generally loves it. He makes a great weight too because as I get…

I quit a year ago and started dealing with my stress by eating and now here I am on mfp. Feel free to add me

I've heard that every ounce of breast milk is about 20c, give or take, so if you pump at all or even approximate that your lo takes 3-4 oz per feeding you can kind of get an estimate.

I am exclusively breastfeeding my three month old and I have my calorie count set at 2000. I just started about a week and a half ago and didn't want to drop my intake too drastically but will be going down to 1800 in 2 weeks. My main concern though are my macros which I have set at 45% carbs, 25% protien and 30% fat.

Hello! I'm three months pp as well. I'm kind of fighting a mild case of ppd but it's mostly centered around how how I feel about myself so I'm hoping that eating healthier and getting off this baby weight will improve the way I feel. I was lucky enough to only gained twenty five pounds during pregnancy but I've only lost…
