  • 1100 calorie intake is too low, you won't be able to sustain such diet. In my honest opinion, longevity and persistence in diet is far better than taking drastic measures that you won't be able to sustain. Use MyFitnessPal estimator for calorie intake, it'll probably indicate at the very least 1200~1300 calories
  • This morning, I headed to bathroom for my daily weigh-in, noticed in the mirror my abs are showing even though I was relaxed and not even flexing my belly. It was a good moment :)
  • Rest days allow the body to focus on healing bruised muscles and reconstructing those that need growth. Make no mistake, even that process consumes calories, a workout calorie consumption doesn't stop when the workout stop, for some exercises depending on intensity of course, the benefit calorie-wise might last for 48…
  • Hey-o, nerd and gamer from Paris looking for friends and motivation !
  • summer obviously. However i'm pretty bummed out by the stretch marks and extra skin I just can't do anything about and just have to wait it out
  • Paris, France here
  • I had issues like this, but it was directly and entirely related to boredom eating. I can't sit through a movie or football game without something to drink or eat. What I did to avoid this, is just got myself busy. This is why I workout after work, and take my time too, so that when I get home I eat dinner and its already…
  • So true! However I doubt OP is asking about the latter :)
  • Don't forget stretching before and after running. It can be runner's knee.

  • Actually it delivers 4 different percentages every time: fat, muscle, lean mass and bone mass. But I agree, I don't take the results as sacred or absolutely accurate, I only use them as trend indication. Ultimately, my point is, gaining muscle while losing fat is possible, given proper nutrition and workout, it's not…
  • i dunno about you guys, but I started my fat losing journey a few months back, been losing fat and gaining muscle ever since. I used no supplement, just counted my calories and specifically designed my macronutrients composition to have 40% protein. this is before: this is now: those pictures are 7 months apart btw. Of…
  • Warmup, warmup, warmup ! Before and after effort. I was plagued by injuries when I took up running. And every time I realize my warmup routine is lacking. Just google around a warm-up routine you see fit, but also a stretching routine after finishing the effort. Make sure you wear a proper pair of shoes too, shoes need to…
  • Care to expand about that? I mean Jeff is a certified famous trainer with masters degree in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Physioneurobiology / Premedicine, I've been following his channel for long and have been able to get really good results.
  • I drink a cup of coffee. I choose to eat the banana post workout but that's a personal preference.
  • Different people have different emotional needs. It's perfectly understandable you don't feel comfortable constantly providing that sort of emotional support as it gets tiring over time, there's no way in hell all people are compatible. I think you just need to talk it out straightforward and solve the issue at its root :#

  • In this video Jeff Cavaliere goes into details about building muscle and losing weight. https://youtu.be/Bz3AG-oCXTE Basically, losing weight is a direct result of a calorie deficit. Building muscle on the other hand isn't necessarily related to an excess of calories. What is to be considered is the Postive Nitrogen…
  • I confess that I'm probably undereating to quicken up my weight loss. I need to put a stop to it but am afraid that eating reasonable amount of calories all being sub needs won't work. I need to trust in CiCo I guess.
  • icicle
  • Nope, been only once to the US, it was washington DC. HYE ran a 10K ?
  • Yes, totally aware of this. What I'm doing atm is temporary. I'm in a transition phase, that relies less and less on extensive cardio workouts, more on strengthening exercise, and with higher calorie intake. I used to not use MFP so my calorie intake used to be wild and uncontrolled. I made up for that with workout. Now…
  • Daily, and I cheat, I weigh in the second i wake up in the morning that's my main value, then I weigh in after workouts  i guess low numbers motivate me
  • Hello there, in my opinion, yes it gets easier. Your body will get accustomed to the diet sooner or later. I don't know if you have ever tried fasting before. But once you do it for a few days, your body stops claiming food at certain times because it knows it won't get any. What you can however do is this, you know your…
  • Always looking for new friends !
  • Insolence
  • 1- I ran 11Km this morning on empty stomach, it was interesting. 2- I exchanged looks with this girl in the park today, regret not stepping up to her. 3- This coffee i'm sipping rn is so good
  • I stumbled upon this Socrates quote: "No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." I looked at myself in the mirror, I was 25 years old buried under fat. it had to change.
  • Feel free to add me guys :)
  • Hey there, This is my 7 months before/after picture. this is my weight progress :) Hope this helps
