I believe that 3 weeks is too less a time to see any major changes. Give your body sometime to get used to the workouts & new lifestyle changes/habits. It could take you about 6-8 weeks to start seeing the desired results SUSTAIN. Initially the results will be slightly haywire, over a period of time they will become…

Good morning. I managed to get out of bed thanks to my mother. Dragged myself to the bathroom, freshened & got dressed. Cycled for 30 min, burned 450+ cal. ("Burned" calories : Burned is such a savage term. Makes me feel like I defeated evil) Just For Today (31/05/17) 1. Drink 3 liters of water. 2. Stay in the green. 3.…

Thank you for sharing you thoughts. I just wanted to say that its not self-centered if you wanna get fit so that someone else feels proud, rather it is selfless. So you should take pride in that fact. My best wishes to you and a salute to your DH. Have a great day.

Good morning people. So............ I get up today morning, stand on the scale & behold......... 94.6 kg. Some how magically I gained 0.6 kg in a day. Even though: 1. I had cycled 5 km in the morning. 2. Drank 3.5 liters of water the whole day. 3. Stuck to my calorie count (went over by about 70 cal) I was…

Good morning to all. I hope I can give you guys a reason to smile today. A week ago I weighed 95.6 kg. Then: 1. I joined you all. 2. Started logging my meals. 3. Drank more water. 4. Tried to keep my calorie intake as close to my target as possible (went over the limit all days). 5. Decided to buy a bicycle to exercise…

Wow. This is something new. I'm really gonna give this a try. Sounds so simple. Why haven't I thought of this before. Thank you for the idea.

Your words seem so much like my own. I'm very self-conscious of my body. The problem with me is that when I am about to eat (something that will ruin my weight loss program) I say to myself that I'll work out & burn more calories the next day. But "TOMORROW NEVER COMES". So, I have decided to keep a cheat day after…

Hello to all. Yesterday's results (25/05/17): 1. I logged all my meals. 2. I had 1.6 liters of water (Target was 2 liters). 3. I went over my calorie target (1500 cal) by 79 cal. Result: I lost 0.1kg. Not a bad start I guess. The reason for me going over my calorie count was a "Cookie cake" I had as a snack at work.…

"Pre-Log" Now that's something I need to try. Till now I have been logging only after I have had something. Does Pre-logging help you control your intake better than logging after the meal? Thank you for your thoughts & encouragement.

Today's commitments: 1. Log everything that I eat (Probably spend the whole day logging only) 2. Drink 2 liters of water (All I have to do is fill all the beer bottles with water) 3. Make a genuine effort to stay within my calorie limit for the day. To be brutally honest, these 3 things look like a humongous task. But I…

Thank you so much for those kind words. Please wish your son HAPPY LANDINGS on my behalf. But the feeling of pride that you mention is missing. I feel so disappointed & ashamed for having lost control over my life. I know that I should feel good about the positive steps I have taken, but the magnitude of negativity…

Hello to all. Calling myself obese would be a slight understatement. Basically I was a hot-shot pilot who lost control over his lifestyle, became obese, kicked out of job for failing medicals, got dumped after 3 yrs of relation cos I was unemployed n broke, spent the next 18 months drinking smoking and wasting life. Then I…
