  • I gained I think 40, I'm down 20! Enter your stats, go by the calories they recommend, log accurately! It works! Are you breastfeeding? Either way, you can do it. Prioritize the baby.
  • I think about this all the time. I'm also about 11lbs from goal. I'm also feeding a family. 'nutrition' had always been very difficult for me to understand. I think the best advice is start doing one thing and it will eventually cascade into a series of healthy choices.
  • It's gone this morning. I'm thinking of starting to weigh daily so that I can remember it's just data. It's embarrassing how much that one day threw me into discouragement. That attitude isn't going to get me far once I'm maintaining.
  • I do it every week, one full 24hr period. I am really a big thinker and this eating habits change thing is so mental, the free day makes me think. I don't want to diet forever. I spend lots of time thinking about what will happen when I hit GW (by August). I have nothing figured out, but right now it's working, weight loss…
  • I do this! New Lularoe dresses! They are expensive, but I'm supporting a small business and it really feels like an indulgence. They work great for church and work.
  • This exact thing happened to me this week! You can do it! Don't give up, don't eat half a bag of chocolate chips because you're upset, that's what I did.
  • My husband just tried them for the first time this month. I'm not sure he saw a difference. His favorite part of the program was the protein shake. They stink when he takes them off! He's a swing shift truck driver so sleep is pretty nuts around here. We bed share as well, and I agree I wouldn't trade the time for…
  • I say, take one step. Any step. Eat a salad daily, count calories for 3 days, hit the gym weekly. I firmly believe one step will get you going! I'm only 3 months in and the difference in my body, cravings, and mindset are unfathomable.
  • Currently breastfeeding a ten month old. I've lost 19lbs so far. I was stuck at 180 Supply has ebbed and flowed. I take brewers yeast and that makes an incredible difference with milk. So this is my second and I really struggled to cut calories with my first because I was so scared it would hurt my baby, but then I was…
  • Congratulations!
  • I'm curious about the protein powder too! Also plan on trying the breakfast idea. I always buy the cheap bread because it's 60 cal/slice, never looked at the healthier ones! So excited.
  • I just got home from Aldi, I'm in love with Aldi. Fit and active cheese sticks, whole wheat bread, Greek yogurt, mini chocolate chips, granola bars, all the produce sales, (black berry and strawberry today) but by far my favorite is the organic lightly salted popcorn.... So. So. Good.

  • So, this is my first time having accountability of a weekly weigh in. It's really helped me stop and think before snacking. Thanks guys!

  • Eggs! 1 whole and one white. With a slice of Moz cheese. I need to switch it up though I think. Didn't keep me satisfied for long! Yesterday was hungry girl growing oatmeal with brown sugar and brewers yeast. I was under calories for the first time like, ever.
  • AgidGirl, how exciting! You could hit 199 this month! Rooting for you!
  • So, I'm a noob, been logging here for a month, but about two months overall this time. I really appreciate the input because I'm trying to make this forever. I wanted to share something that motives me. My kids are eating better when I'm eating better. It's simple, but really really great. I'm the person feeding these…
  • I'm a Christan, American, breastfeeding, mom to two looking to lose 20 more pounds, I'm down 20 so far, feeling good. Really thinking about how to make this a forever change. I love people and I love seeing others succeed! Let's do this!

  • I love granola bars, home made cookies or, cold pancakes (yum!), Cheese sticks, pretzels, fruit!, Lots of water
  • I'll let you know if I ever get a kid weened! Haha, I will say, I was finally able to get back to pre-pregnancy weight without weaning. I have 2 kids close in age, both still nursing. I never lost that ten lbs between them, but after starting mfp I'm three pounds under that first pre-pregnancy weight. Right now, weight is…
  • Wendy's chicken go wrap!! Yum.
  • My favorite pancakes are skinny taste guiltless chocolate chip!!! So good, not gf, keep really well in the fridge, 97cal/ea, always makes exactly 10 like the recipe says it will.
  • This is an issue for me too! I love getting together with friends and it always involves food. In fact, I've got one today that I'm trying to navigate. There is always a reason to stray from the plan, and snacking calories are so impossible to log. I say grab a bag of grapes, and a plate of cucumbers. The grapes really…
  • I agree, just don't make it a bad week! Hang in there. I've been there, frustrating.
  • I love a good large salad with cabbage. Yum!!
