I decided to stop having cheat days. I feel like my mindset is changing. I changed my settings to a slower rate of loss and decided to just change not diet.

I have been adding Greek yogurt to everything! Also PB in my breakfast smoothie!

I saw a picture of myself and I was wearing a jacket I wear often.... I liked like a cartoon character! Down 9 lbs! That was this time. It's been a journey after every pregnancy.

Also can we make a mama weight loss group? Is there one?

Yay new babies! I've been at this since Feb when my exclusively breastfed baby was 7 months old. I started at about 2000 cal/day. I don't always add calories back. I've lost 20lbs. Don't stress your body, you are already in weight loss mode so just watch calories (stick to what MFP gives you as a starting point) and follow…

Sugar really gets me. I'm starting to experiment with stevia and xytherol. Interesting, regular artificial sweeteners made me have gallbladder attacks! Was awful. So what plan are you ladies using? Logging, intermittent fasting, low carb? Anyone home all day with the kids? All I do is snack!

What about increasing your calories. My goal is to not spend the rest of my life worried about my weight. So I have to make changes that I can do for the rest of my life. And I can't eat 1200 calories a day for the rest of my life. So why not increase your calories until you're comfortable but still losing just don't be so…

I do, I go all out once a week. I find that is helps me think about what I want my eating life to be like. It's very interesting to me.

I didn't give up. I'm thirty, so pretty young, my NSV is realizing that I really don't have an end date. I'm just going to be healthy. Forever.

I started this journey in Feb. We have 2, a 2.5 yo and almost 1yo. I was 169 at my first appt with my toddler and 179 at the first with my baby. I got down to 180 then got stuck. So counting calories started in Feb and in currently 164! I'm proud, and my final goal is 141, the top of healthy BMI for my height. Weigh ins…

I say, just start eating on you're plan again. When I try to 'fix' it, it just continues the cycle. I say, make sure you're eating enough and incorporating food you like and that makes you feel full. I'm back on plan today after 10 days off plan and I'm just going to be gentle with myself. For me, I'm trying to make this a…

Thanks. Yes, I'm thinking machines. Why is it not optimal?

Sweet friend, that's hard. I can't imagine modeling, that must have been crazy. I say do what your can to address the very deep emotional stuff. I have found a YouTube channel (search couple loses 130 pounds) that addresses emotional eating and was very encouraged by what they say. I would also say, try to fit in that…

@stanmann571 thank you. This stuff is simple, but some people try to make it so hard!

I've been looking too! Not a lot out there besides chicken rice and broccoli/green beans. I also do the Chipotle chicken in the instant pot. It's really good. I just posted a recipe for pureed soup that I love to make, makes 6 servings. I also make oatmeal ahead. I do the Hungry Girl 'growing oatmeal' method, so you use…

As long as you eat back some exercise calories, you should be good! Hunger will get under control as you figure out what types of meals work best for you. Good job! Starting is the hardest
-
You're doing it! Let mfp set your calorie goal and sick to it. You'll see big changes!

What if you track without trying to limit? See where your at to see what happens? I didn't start tracking calories until the natural weight, water, inflammation ended. I began by adding exercise. I cut calories to 2000, then 1500, now 1260. No problems with supply so far I take brewers yeast once and awhile if I'm…

Don't give up. This time it will work. Give it another week. I've felt what you're feeling. It's just a feeling. It will go away with your next victory.

Breastfeeding mama here, just broke a plateau. I cut calories 290/day and it really helped. I totally believe is all hormonal. I say keep at it and see what happens. I add brewers yeast to help supply and nurse nurse nurse! Congratulations on your loss!!!
-
The beginning is the hardest! Hope you're feeling great!
-
Zucchini. Now that its summer here, all the zucchini, with soy sauce. Delicious.
-
Keep fighting! I hit a plateau, just broke it this week. I did lower my calories about 300/day. I have upped veggies like zucchini, sweet potato, and spaghetti squash help me stay on calorie target. Diet soda too, but I don't want to get hooked on that.
-
Love it! I love the balanced approach.

When I started I used Hungry Girl a lot, I haven't kept all the recipes as many contain odd ingredients, but I really like how she has a sub for everything. I keep a few I learned in her books. I also say skinnytaste. I just found spark recipes like yesterday, I love how the calories are laid out clearly.

THIS is interesting, I did start drinking diet soda to help me stay within my calorie range when I dropped it. Hmmm.... I have had 2 babies 19 mo apart. The pain, for me was worse than labor!! I kept telling the nurses that in the ER! haha
-
I was in the ER this week for gallstones. I am going to follow this thread, but from what I've read the weight loss could be what triggers it. I was there 6 months ago for another stone, the gallbladder is never inflamed so they don't do the emergency surgery, but it is the most pain I've ever been in when it hits. I'm so…

I always use Greek yogurt with mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. I add onions to my salad and Bell peppers. When I can afford the calories I love avocado. My favorite salads though are when I use seasoned meat! Nothing like a taco salad, that ground meat with taco seasoning is so so good!

THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW! Three weeks no real loss. Think it might be time to crack down on my tracking. I've gotten lazy and too inaccurate. I need to seriously measure, and also stop buying chocolate.
