Breastfeeding and plateaus

Hello all! So i am am happy to say I have lost all my baby weight, and was pretty steadily losing two pounds a week. Now that I have made it precisely to my prebaby weight (158) my weightloss has seemed to come to a halt. I have adjusted my calories and macros every 5 to 10 lbs to keep to about a 750 cal/day deficit, uped my duration and intensity of my workouts, stopped eating back my exercise calories. I weigh all my solids, measure all my liquids. At this point i' m pretty sure breastfeeding hormones are coming into play and I'd rather breastfeed than reach my goal weight.
I still have a good supply but I'm afraid to reduce my calories anymore because I'm pretty active on top of breastfeeding and I'm already on the low end considering. I don't want to give up without a fight, though so I'm wondering if there's anything that might help? Eating at maintenance for a week or two? Just keep trudging?
Also in this situation can I still reduce my body fat percentage? Thanks for any help you can offer

Breastfeeding mama here, just broke a plateau. I cut calories 290/day and it really helped. I totally believe is all hormonal. I say keep at it and see what happens. I add brewers yeast to help supply and nurse nurse nurse! Congratulations on your loss!!!

Thanks for the response :# I know I want to keep up with my healthy lifestyle but this plateau has been hard on my motivation. I'm not to fond of brewers yeast but maybe if I find the right recipe I can deal with it better. Good job getting over your plateau

How long? A plateau is 6+ weeks.

Give your body time to adjust.

    Research recomping!

It's not "breastfed hormones"; you're not in a caloric deficit.

How long has your weight been stalled? If less than 6-8 weeks, then you're not at a plateau. There will be fluctuations in your weight, and some weeks you will see a gain or stay the same. Hang in there! If you're active and breastfeeding and feel your calories logged are accurately at a deficit, just give it more time.

I am nearing 40 lbs below my probably weight (40-50 to go) and breastfeeding. I notice no change in supply regardless of my calories but I'm happiest eating at a rate of roughly 0.75lb loss per week.

You sound like you are doing fine. Regardless of the status of your stall, you and baby are healthy. It's all trial and error for weight loss.

Things which could impact loss - sleep amount and quality, recovery from exercise, water retention, sodium intake, and others that can show on the scale. Are you taking other measurements beyond weight? Losing inches or dress sizes?

I get brewers yeast tablets from holland and barrett

I breastfeed and pump so i can see when my milk dips

I sometimes make a chocolate pudding made of a blend of brewers yeast, flaxseed, oats, coconut sugar, cacoa and milk

I put it in the fridge and it firms right up

I pour custard over it too lol
