  • Not for obesity reasons such, just customer service. Yes. Airplane seats should be bigger. Service should be better. All the nickel & dime fees need to stop. This will never happen because people keep looking for the lowest fares.
  • It can take time to change your habits. I spent 27 yrs as a Hindu vegetarian. When I finally admitted I was a closeted atheist, I quit. I went straight to Church's chicken for a drumstick of joy (now THAT was a religious experience ha ha). But I still find myself eating only with my right hand. That is not exactly…
  • I grew up in Texas. After graduating seminary I converted to Hinduism. Spent 27 years as a vegetarian, and got really fat. Finally gave up all the fairy tales and took control of my own life. So, 5 years ago (at 48), I went back to eating meat, retired to the Philippines, and last year -finally- started losing weight. This…
  • Just One More Chance by Dean Martin. I love the song and it can stay stuck as long as it wants B)
  • 2 scrambled eggs. About few days a week my wife makes some hot Milo to go with it (Filipino brand hot chocolate).
  • I am from Dallas, TX but retired to the Philippines 5 years ago. I am 53 and loving it! I just finished a tracking break and time to get motivated again. Looking all the friends and support I can find. B)
  • I was fat when I met my wife, and she never complained. When I started losing weight, she would rub my stomach and say she missed the "Pooh Bear Tummy". But after a year she says she is ok with it... I was pretty fat so I know I look better now. It just took her a little to get used to it. I went from 116 kg to 94. I am…
  • I am new to the she site and could use all the support I can find! The more the merrier. Everyone feel free to add me B)
  • Interesting read. I did a keto experiment - I knew it was not going to be sustainable for me. I did not get headaches but got dizzy and my blood pressure went up. I don't mess around with blood pressure so I stopped keto and my blood pressure improved right away. I either was doing it wrong... or it just is not for me B)
  • Average lunch or dinner. I switch out pork & chicken, 100 gr of each.
  • I love my MiBand 2 - a $20 Chinese unit (I think Amazon sells it for the US, I am in the Philippines). It is rated IP67 waterproof, so no need to remove it for showers, but don't scuba dive in it. I get almost 20 days between battery charges. I have tracked and verified the accuracy of the pedometer and heart rate monitor.…
  • We don't have a lot of American options here in the Philippines. So when Burger King opened recently I wanted one, for old times sake ha ha. I looked at the BK website and saw that a Whopper was a whopping 630 calories - then I saw one line down was a Whopper with no mayo is 470 (I hate mayo so that works for me). The 470…
  • I am 53 and retired to the Philippines (from Texas). Hoping to find some like minded people here. I have been tracking for 6 months on another site and they keep "improving" things, and have improved me right out of there ha ha. Thought I would check out the community here. ...no way I can add my 6 months of tracking…
  • Ok, maybe it will catch up tonight. I figured it was supposed to sync :) Thanks for the quick replies.
