  • Definitely get a food scale. Before I got one I never realized how much a serving of something breally was and when I was guesstimating I was over eating. Measuring cups are good too for portions. I seriously even count out pretzels. I really does help, everything is more accurate!

In the winter when it's basically an average of 0° out I use a old gazelle my parents don't use any more. I'm not a huge fan and I'd love an elliptical but it's not exactly in our families budget.
