Thank you to those who replied. When I posted this I did not mean to imply that I believe in CICO or starvation mode. I was implying that I was suspicious of both of them and was confused at how little sense it makes! Nor am I saying that I disagree with CICO. Thank you for all helpful answers! CICO is confusing. Calories in Calories out- Except for if you eat too little and go into starvation mode you won’t lose weight or you may even gain weight. It confuses me and I’m sure it confuses others too.

Can’t you dry grill the veggies? Other option is to eat your veggies as a salad or steam vegetables so you don’t need oil.

I’m Dash, 27 5’1 Last time I weighed I was 111. I don’t have a scale as I travel, so I weigh when I can. Looking to lose 5-15 lbs and gain it back in muscle. Since I don’t have a scale I’ll probably be on here to post other forms of progress.

I felt it took 2 weeks before I stopped feeling like sh** and 5 months until I had good energy. But I also was not taking electrolytes for the first few months so it’s hard to say if that delayed my energy. I’m pretty sure it did.
