  • Well done, that's a fantastic result! Good luck training for the 10k - you got this!
  • Better late than never... here's some pictures to show my progress. I included April pics as well to make the difference look more impressive! This challenge has really helped me develop some muscle and get my body into a much better shape so thanks everyone for helping me through it :)
  • I did it! 30 bootcamp challenge complete! :D I'll take some 'after' pics to post tomorrow when I'm less sweaty... Well done everyone, and thanks for all the inspiration and encouragement!
  • Day 29 of bootcamp done - just one more day!
  • Days 26, 27 and 28 of bootcamp done - just 2 more days to go!
  • I used to be self-conscious about going to the gym - until I went and realised that no one is paying any attention to anything other than their own workouts! So I'd definitely encourage you to give it a try - maybe at a less busy time so it's not so overwhelming? However, you're not going to stick to a regime if you don't…
  • Days 22 and 23 of bootcamp done. I'm switching rest day to today to fit in with other plans and then powering through the last 6 days. The end is in sight - great work everyone!
  • Days 18 and 19 of bootcamp done. I did day 21 this morning as well and am moving my rest day to tomorrow because I'm getting my first tattoo this afternoon as a reward for getting down to a healthy weight for my height at the end of last month :D
  • Congratulations! It's wonderful to hear that you have discovered a love of cooking and found a new activity to share as a couple. Keep up the excellent work and I have no doubt you'll both reach your goals. Best of luck with the rest of your journey :)
  • Did days 16 and 17 of bootcamp on Monday and yesterday and am having my rest day (day 15) today. Will be back to normal tomorrow with day 18 on the 18th :)
  • It's the 15th which means we're half way through the 30 day challenges! Well done to everyone who's made it this far - you're doing an amazing job! Let's keep it going for the rest of the month :D
  • Day 11, 12, 13 and 14 of bootcamp done. I'm going to switch around the days over the next week to fit in with other plans, but I'll still be bootcamping away :)
  • That's days 6, 7, 8 and 9 of bootcamp done. Can't honestly believe how much I'm enjoying it! I love having everything broken down into 1 or 3 minute segments - makes it all seem so quick, easy and painless! I feel like I'm getting better and stronger too - May is going to be a great month!
  • When I was overweight I tried to hide it with what I wore - not with baggy sweaters and hoodies, but by wearing belts at the waist (to pretend I had one!), wearing skirts (to pretend the skirt naturally flared out like that, rather than my huge thighs!) and avoiding jeans or anything that buttoned at my stomach (and caused…
  • I felt exactly the same starting a challenge last month - I had to modify every single exercise as every muscle felt like it was going to collapse! But don't worry, it does get easier and your body will adapt and improve faster than you think. Just keep at it and you'll have so many reasons to feel proud of yourself!…
  • That's days 2, 3 and 4 of bootcamp now done. It's great feeling the under-used muscles in my arms, shoulders and back starting to wake up! I almost don't want it to be rest day tomorrow... :)
  • Day 1 of bootcamp done... 3 minutes seems a lot longer than I thought! Looking forward to seeing improvement over the month :)
  • I'm in for the 30 day bootcamp challenge - better go buy a jump rope! :)
  • I've heard people saying that when you start a new exercise regime you'll retain more water, which means it won't look like you've lost weight (or maybe even look like you've put on weight) at first. But give it a couple of weeks and the water weight will come off. The same would apply for any type of exercise, not just…
  • I've had to miss a couple of days as I sliced my finger open on Sunday. Going to try to do day 17 of killer tonight and see how I get on. I'm determined to finish, but may be a couple of days behind!
  • Day 13, 14 and 15 of Killer done. Have a lovely Easter weekend everyone :)
  • You and me both! What evil, sadistic person invented burpees? Let's do our best not to let them defeat us- we can do this! :)
  • Days 9, 10 and 11 of killer full body done :) Leg lifts are finally starting to get easier!
  • Days 5, 6 and 7 of Killer done - I was dreading burpees doubling on day 6 but fortunately my determination doubled too! We can do this! :D Have a great weekend everyone!
  • I did slimfast back in 2014 (in combination with a lot of exercise) and it worked for me then. I liked the taste of the shakes, generally found them filling, and found them very easy to use - I don't like to have to do a lot of planning and preparing for breakfast and lunch when I'm at work. It fit into my lifestyle, which…
  • 1.What was the turning point for you? It's ok if it was a series of events In the run up to Christmas I was feeling awful - I'd wake up in the night with stomach pains because I'd eaten too much, my back was in pain from standing awkwardly as my body wasn't used to carrying so much weight, and even my 'fat' clothes were…
  • Just want to say well done and huge respect to everyone - especially those doing multiple challenges! I decided to try the full body workout as my first ever challenge - and boy, am I not fit enough! My boyfriend is helping me with modified versions of exercises so I can still join in and it's my goal to be able to do each…
