  • Even though I want to lose more weight I have and will continue to eat at maintenance till after Christmas. I find that in the first half of the year I’m very good at deficits but in the second half I’m not. But I have done c25k over the last couple of months and continue to run 2miles 3x week (takes 30 mins currently)…
  • Just back from the last run of c25k I can “run” for 2 miles (not 5k!!) in 30 minutes without stopping. Wooo.
  • I’m probably a few days early with this nsv but I guess I can have 2! Last night I did w9r1 of c25k. This is my second go at this programme. I got side tracked in the summer but started it again in September. I remember mentioning it and people telling me I would come to love runnning. I don’t love running I don’t think I…
  • I did week 9r1 last night. I realised I haven’t really been checking in here for a while so thought I would
  • Today I bagged up loads of too big clothes to put in the charity bin. Mainly so that if I start to go up again I won’t have anything to wear so will have to get back on track
  • So today I did w3d3. This is my second "go" at c25k. Got side tracked with various things over the summer so having another go! So far so good but 3 minutes seems like a long time to me still so I expect w4 will include some repeats, but I'd really like to get to the end this time. I'd like to be able to run for 30 mins…
  • This weekend my daughter got married. I realised sometime ago that it was going to be a struggle to stay in a deficit in the couple of weeks prior. lots to do, lots of celebrations and what have you. So I've just logged food regardless tried to fit my exercise in when I could and not worried when I couldn't. Got on the…
  • I bought my "mother of the bride" outfit for my daughters wedding 2 weeks today it fits perfectly but it's a fitted dress so I would like to lose 2lbs by then so there is some room in the dress for cake :)
  • Wooo well done! I bet it feels ace. I'm 2lbs away from overweight it's so close I can almost smell it. My daughter gets married 2 weeks tomorrow. I'm determined to be merely overweight on that day :)
  • You need to know I'm 5'2.I saw my bf s son the other day for the first time since Christmas. (He's approximately 9 feet tall this is also relevant)He's home from uni. For the summer He apparently told his mum I'm "tiny" now I've lost some weight, I even look shorter now. :)
  • My nsv today is that I technically finished w4 of c25k I have 3 ticks on my app to prove it. but I've found it a struggle so I'm going to repeat the sessions a couple more times this week before moving on. I still don't really like running(well calling it running is a bit of a stretch) but it's a means to an end so I'll…
  • Done w4d3 twice now, first time I had to walk some of it, today I did it all but I'm going to do it again this week, I really don't think I can do more that five minutes at once yet :)
  • Did w4d2 over the weekend and found it a struggle going to do d3 this evening but might do it a couple more times before moving on
  • honestly I don't know what would make you feel better, but I have lost 17lbs in about the same time as you, also about a 3rd of what id like to lose and also sometimes feel like it's not good enough or fast enough. Truth is it is flipping hard work and we have to take the small victories. Find things that weigh a lb in…
  • My last mini goal was to be 164lbs. By yesterday. I'm missed it by half a lb. when I hit that I move from obese to overweight. So my mini mini goal is to lose the 1/2lb by next Saturday. I'm going to the coast for a week on Saturday. So my bigger mini goal is to gain no more than 3lbs during that week.(we eat and drink out…
  • I'm sure you will be fine, you have succeeded with your wish to lose weight so I'm sure you can succeed with your studies
  • @Madwife2009 woo is absolutely positive in my humble opinion it's deffo a woo we done good. Which why I gave you a woo. It even has a smiley face on the icon.
  • W4d1 completed last night. It wasn't as hard as I expected. I'm not overly out of breath, but get calf burn still, that's not easing off any, but overall pleased to report 16 minutes overall jogging completed :)
  • Done week 3 today start week 4 on Monday. Ended up doing 4 runs for it 2 last week 2 this due to family commitments.
  • @MrsPinterest34 I'm going away in 2 weeks and plan to take your approach so I'm glad to hear you're straight back on track and hope I manage the same :)
  • I've read lots of threads where people say they've had this happen to them, and they didn't like it much but it happened twice to me today and I loved it!! 2 colleagues have asked how much weight I've lost and that I now look thin enough. Oddly I'm still according to bmi tables 3lbs into the obese category so I'm not sure…
  • 100 day logging. And (scale related I know) dropped down a stone number. Weight now starts with 11 not 12 woooo

  • Ahh it's not the end of the world. This weekend I have done a boozy 21st birthday party, and a full blown wedding feast canapés 3 course lunch and evening buffet, not to mention yet more booze. I don't regret it, important people in my life I wanted to celebrate with. Back to sensible eating and exercise today. I might see…
  • Going to start week 3 again today. Only because I didn't have time to do the 3rd run at the weekend due to family events. It's quite warm though so going to save it for this evening
  • W3d2 done. It wasn't too bad!
  • Saw my sister in law today. First time in a while. She said you look well. First person to notice I've lost a bit of weight. Made my day.
  • @tomteboda every days a school day I've learned something new. Still a dog to me though
  • @stanmann571 yes I bet that's it that makes much more sense!!
  • Pooch. Used to describe belly overhang from having children via cs or otherwise. I don't know about elsewhere and I know this site is pretty global but In the U.K. A pooch is a dog. I assume they actually mean pouch as in where marsupials keep their offspring. I don't know why I'm not usually a spelling stickler but pooch…
