0.75 mile walk. It was supposed to be 2 miles but my 11 yr old dog made it clear she was done:( I might need to add a separate extra walk for the younger pup as less than a mile won’t do!

2 mile walk. I should be lifting today but woke with a lot of soreness in right shoulder/pec, so I’m resting muscles instead.

Up at 5:30am, an hour of coffee, reading, and snuggling with the pups. I seriously value this time.

A rest day to me still includes a 1-2 mile walk with the dogs. Nothing strenuous. If I’m really worn out I might just do nothing, but that’s rare. The dogs need to be walked!

4 mile, 2 hour hike with my 9 year old son and one of the pups. Ideal weather, gorgeous scenery, excellent company. Perfection!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Honestly, the best advice I have is to work with a therapist on these disordered eating thought patterns. Life’s too short to waste it feeling like this.

I totally agree with being active with your kids. It’s great to be a good role model for them with physical activity. I totally agree with sleeping in your workout clothes. Then all you need to do is force yourself out of the bed, and you are off. This works for me. Anyone that will workout with you that early? Having a friend really motivates me for early workouts.
