Just read that cardiologists say that if u can get up 4 flights of stairs in under a minute that is a good sign of health and longevity.

LOL...so true, it boggles my mind when I hear people talking about someone being elderly and they are int heir 50s...I just turned 50 last year so maybe somewhat sensitive but seriously someone in their 50s I would not consider a senior or elderly.

Wow interesting for sure...yeah I recall seeing somewhere that if you walk at least 2 flights of stairs per day it can add a certain amount of years to your life.

Root canals are not that bad it is afterwards that is a pain, getting a crown, the crown prep is worse than the root canal imho. I have had at least 4. Cerave cleanser on face, witch hazel as toner. Paula's choice products after and or tazorac cream, which is a prescription product and it is used for acne and is a retinoid too and is used for sun damage as well. I am 50 and skin still breaks out so have to be careful what I use.

All or nothing way of eating/exercising. A "perfect" day for me would be eating perfectly and ensuring I got at least an hour of exercise. Anything other than that was a fail and I would then blow it for the rest of the day and start again tomorrow.

Oh my gosh..how annoying and weird of her! I hate hate hate it, when people think that eating cookies/cakes is forbidden on an eating plan. I have a friend that will say..."I am so bad, I just ate a slice of pizza" or I just ate a whole squash for dinner, I am so bad"....I hate that overdramatic *kitten*!

Same here, I lost 25 lbs doing IF nothing else, I simply skip breakfast. I did not count calories/points, etc. No interest in doing any of that. For me it worked and I like the structure of an eating window as opposed to the structure of counting or tracking calories.

Are you able to move quite a bit during the day, walk/take the steps, etc. I honestly think that moving all day long is better for you.

I have lost weight doing IF. I do not count calories but try and eat in moderation. For me the eating window is what keeps me in control. Thanks all, I am going to stick with the electric plus I like the timer on it as it forces me to brush for 2 minutes. I have been using the soft picks and because of that have not used floss so I think I will use the soft picks during the day but go back to flossing at night. Very true, you have to learn to avoid completely or moderate what you eat....hell I have used the weather as an excuse to stuff my face:( It is too cold/snowy, etc. so I might as well eat!!!

To the OP...seriously blowing a plan because she brought in donuts, you could have just had one and that would not have blown your plan. Yesterday I think I had a good day eating wise and I still ate one chocolate chip cookie and half a kitkit bar...still all good!

Absolutely, I agree with this. I have no interest in counting calories/points, etc. I do time restricted eating and just kind of loosely monitor what I am eating most days..somedays I go overboard but whatever as long as I stay within my eating window I am not too concerned.

I hear you, sometimes it is scary how easy it is to fall into old habits, etc. I have struggled with getting the last 8 lbs off since late summer. I do great for a week or so then have a bad day or two, etc. etc. It seems like I get down a lb then up a lb...the same lb:(

This thread is great...reminding me that I have to move more...I admit that I tend to think nothing about sitting all day at a desk because I exercise 30 to 60 minutes at the gym.
