Working hard this morning!

My premium upgrade came free when I bought my galaxy watch. I find it as unnecessary as I had guessed it would be. If they lowered the price point for a no ads experience, I might be interested in that.

Depends, if it's a SO, perhaps you want them to exert effort, too. If it's a random stranger, perhaps you have too much time on your hands. Lots of time what we feel about ourselves comes out in a reaction to someone else.

Here's mine from a workout this morning.

Here's an idea, dont add extra calories for lifting weights. Just think of it as muscle training. If you are losing more than you should be after a few weeks, try adding an extra 100 calories per workout, and then go from there. Basically, no one here knows how intense your workouts are, and how your body responds. If you…

Good things come to those who wait - but only what's left behind by those who hustle. He who laughs last, thinks the slowest.

@your_future_ex_wife So, are you saying I shouldn't just ask them to stand up, so everyone knows they're new? I thought this would be a great way to change things up.
-
Sure, but isn't it like the old adage, a burger with no bun is just not fun?
-
@your_future_ex_wife I love that you called it a hymn! It is a modern hymn and one of the best ones I've ever seen. I may actually be able to do something with that, I've been running the words to it through my mind now. @Reckoner67 Totally agree with you! The music behind it is also just wonderful at touching deep within.

An Easter message (sermon). I'm thinking it should probably be about the resurrection... and that's what I've got so far. @your_future_ex_wife

Drinking Chai and eating strawberries. Also working.

I loved the country version of her, and some her older pop songs, but now she drives me nuts. Especially the song where she's just moaning half the time. It is NOT cute. I also like some other bands that I wouldn't admit publicly, too. Also guilty pleasure was mobile games. I stopped playing because of time, but I did…

1. Excuses are for people who don't want to change. (I used to make plenty) 2. Moderation in all things. 3. Massive change is the result of countless small changes.

Wow! Of all the threads here that stay dormant, somehow the OP has an outpouring of support and ideas. From here it looks like everyone else wants her to succeed more than she wants it. God helps those who help themselves.

If you want a comparison, the same pose helps. One is straight on, the second you're using angles to hide any real comparison.

Agree with @sijomial . You'll weigh less, but that doesn't mean you need less. If you're losing weight now, you're operating at a deficit. Extra fat doesn't require maintenance, it just is energy you didn't use being stored until you do. Once you hit a goal weight, the only way you'll be able to maintain is by eating more.
-
I didn't want to be a fat preacher, and my dad has always been obese. As I got more into it, my reasons got better and deeper, but at the end of the day, the first two are still a major driving motivation.
-
Personally, maintaining was like Christmas every day for me. I did it for a year and a half, and the extra 500 calories never got old. It was only when I was getting bad about logging and started guesstimates that I had trouble. Now, I've set a new goal for myself (a bf %), and the results are so slow that I yearn for the…

I've got a galaxy watch, the exercises will sync, but I didn't bother trying to get the steps to sync. My watch does a decent job of counting the steps, so I just check there if I'm interested in the step count. Do you want the steps for the calorie bonus? Or just want all that info in one place?
-
If I don't prelog, I log when I start eating. It usually takes me less than 90 seconds. Probably even half that.
-
Cutting your calories is how you'll lose the weight. Just figure out the foods you can eat more of that are less calories, or eat cleaner. I got used to my deficit eating so much that maintaining feels like I'm stuffing myself, but it's because I started eating better. I'm in the USA, so not what you're looking for, but…

Get a step counter (Fitbit, Apple Watch, smartphone) and compare it to your days off to get an idea.

Don't give up! The scale only tells part of the story. You can't do all you're doing and it make no difference. Keep it up and the scale will catch you soon enough!
-
Here's a couple pics, I'll try to get some better ones.
-
I was curious how you stayed at calorie deficit without counting calories, but after reading your diet plan, it seems clear. Really great job! Your results are fantastic.
-
I have done both. After a while, I really felt the lack of energy as my workouts got harder. But eating anything heavy also slowed me down. I found a nice balance with eating oatmeal. Light, quickly metabolized, and still gave me sustenance.
-
Have you tried manually syncing it yet? I had to do that with my wife's Fitbit the other night.

Having clothes look nice on you, not being afraid of pictures, the confidence of having a good level of fitness, all of those things are much better than mindless splurging. As said, just plan your eating and you can still enjoy whatever. Personally, I'm in the group that doesn't miss most of the junk I used to eat.
