Thank you everyone!

Thank you! I started January 10th

I typically log mine as calisthenics 10-25 minutes depending on the intensity and length

Yes, you can start crossfit at any level. When they scale the workouts to your ability you are still pushing and getting stronger and after so much time you'll be able to do the workout as prescribed. I started crossfit 4 months ago at 270 lbs, I'm down 33 from that now. You'll pay about $150 a month for unlimited box…

Congratulations! Your hard work and dedication is inspiring. What kind of workouts are you doing if you don't mind me asking

Oh I have absolutely 0 chance of stopping my weight loss journey. I'll take some loose skin for a healthy body. I'm just wondering if there is anything to do that can lessen the amount of loose skin and am hoping to hear from people's experiences
-
I completely agree with you there izzybelle! I'll take extra skin over obesity any day. I'm on pace with losing 1-2 lbs a week. And doing crossfit and building muscle underneath as I go. So praying it won't be too much

I log it as calisthenics. But think about your workout and how long you are actually working hard. Typically I log my workout as 8-15 minutes of calisthenics. Occasionally it's 20-30min

I started crossfit a few months ago. I've also been aiming to eat super clean. My goal is set to hit 1800 calories a day and I was only eating 11-1200 a day. Def not enough. So I just added calorie dense foods in, now I'm hitting closer to my goal every day. Nuts and seeds, oils, nut butters, avocado, etc. another thing…

Check out a crossfit gym. Everything is scaled to your ability, the coaches are there helping you every step of the way if needed, it's like a group training session every single day, and the community is amazing, so positive and supportive
-
I use calisthenics about 10-20 minutes depending on the intensity of the crossfit workout

I started crossfit 6 weeks ago. I'm pretty overweight but have been steadily losing weight since January and wanted to kick my exercise up a bit. The workouts are pretty intense but everything is scaled to my ability and I have GREAT coaches! I definitely recommend it to anyone at any fitness level. The community is so…

My leg soreness has died down a tad and I'm off to my first full workout tonight. Excited and nervous!
-
Yes!!!!! But I'm extremely sore! Just from doing the warmup and the baseline. I'm hoping I'll be good to go tomorrow. The coaches were awesome
-
Thanks for all the great input! I'm so excited to get started! My first ramp up session is tomorrow!

I do not eat gluten and also have an intolerance to eggs :( booooo... my go to breakfast is a large apple with 2 tablespoons of organic peanut butter and 3 pieces of breakfast chicken sausage. It fills me up and keeps me full through the morning. Occasionally I'll eat a small snack before lunch. Oatmeal is another good…

Dairy is not required for good health! Cows milk is meant to nourish their babies. That's it! But instead us humans decided to go feed cows hormones to keep them producing dairy... so human adults who do not need to grow can consume the milk that is meant for a calf. Cows milk is not the only way we can get calcium. Does…

Ok let me clarify... I do eat fruit. I cut out processed sugars. I basically follow a paleo diet, but not 100% I eat brown rice and some legumes. I do understand that to some this sounds totally scary. But I've shed 40 pounds since January, I am heavier. The amount of energy I now have is crazy, I fully enjoy this…

You are probably not eating enough. Sounds crazy, but when you are not feeding your body enough calories it starts holding on to everything and storing it. Try upping to 1500. I started clean eating recently was only eating 1200ish calories because I was full all the time and was losing pretty slow, but the weight is…
