  • I traded my Fitbit Charge 2 in for an Apple series 3 on Friday and I’m enjoying it so much! I use Spotify and on my watch can scroll over and skip songs etc as the app plays with through my phone. I do not have the cellular one, just the GPS watch. Definitely took the whole weekend getting used to it. The only thing I…

  • I work out first thing and I always do it fasted. The few times I have eaten, I've either felt sick through the whole workout or I've actually bought it up.
  • Thank you everyone. I do have a gym more local to me which does have free weights. It’s where I worked out with my gym friend before. Her workouts aren’t something I’m into. I don’t like her menial workouts and she usually stays well away from any kind of lower body workouts. so maybe following one of the programmes…

  • Thank you @DancingMoosie I want to really cut my fat back (I’m quite over weight - 5’1 & around 78kilos) I carry it all on my belly. So go it alone?
  • So petty but I want to be that girl men look at in the gym. Using it as a revenge to all the people who called me fat, wouldn’t talk to me/date me and took the p1ss out of me.
  • Ok. No I wouldn’t ask why they wanted me to fast before a blood test. Know why that is? Because someone explained it to me when I needed one years ago. Because when I asked why, he told me why. Now trust me, I wish my Dr told me why, all these dig replies I’ve gotten on here, damn for asking questions eh... I probably…
  • It isn’t a big deal ^^ it was a simple why?! She couldn’t give me a straight answer. Just kept saying not too. I googled. Nothing. So I asked why. As I’ve always been told exercise is what’s best. So I’m of course going to be taken back at the thought of exercise could be damaging my health. I lift heavy 4 times a week.…
  • I have to do a urine sample first thing to see if there’s any protein leaking. I just was bewildered as I bought exercise was what made us healthier. What was better for us. Learn new things everyday
  • I asked her over and over. She just said she advices to not work out. I asked if that meant like HIIT session, running , lifting weights etc. She just kept saying to not work out. I said that isn’t something I’m happy with, as my working out is therapeutic, a stress relief, my time. I enjoy it too much. But she was adamant…
  • @psuLemon I don’t weigh myself every week. Kind of as and when. I did weigh myself 10 days ago, as I felt smaller but no move. Then i spoofed the gym scales and just jumped on them (not literally, I’d end up downstairs!) and same weight. I used to weigh every week but because of my PCOS that just seemed pointless. As if I…
  • @psuLemon I’m 5ft2, 186lbs & 30 years old. I’ve been tracking for a good while now. Wasn’t on MFP before but now back on here. I always use a food scale. Can’t live without one now! As for carbs, I’ve really started to be mindful of when I eat then. This week has been a bit more carby than I’d like as its food shop day…
  • Thank you. I have been lifting properly about a month. And my weight hasn’t moved. Not even .5 of a lb. *i do think there is always so much confusion around lifting and weightloss. I see accounts on Instagram that show girls lifting heavy and getting amazing results. Then I read blogs where you may have to up cardio. Then…
  • Hi. I love the idea of this thread. I can’t keep creating posts as I feel people might get fed up of seeing my name! So hopefully you can help. I’m 30, 5ft2 and weigh 186. Currently doing 3 sessions a week with a PT on weights. Other 2 days I do cardio/belly workouts. I squat 70kg, deadlift 50kg, leg press 90kg, walking…
  • I have woken him with slight soreness at the back of my leg. But nothing major. My back still hurts. PT was behind me, touching, as I was just bending straight down rather than sticking my bum out. I realise how stupid that sounds but I am a beginner. I’ve never been into lifting until recently, so I’m going to mess up at…
  • I have PCOS. Been over weight for years with no period at one stage for 18 months! I don’t take any meds, have never been offered them... Drs just said to lose weight. So I did. I noticed that for every 3-4 lbs I’d lose, I’d have a period. So for me personally it’s helped the symptoms.
  • I ended up slicing it into 100gram portions, all weighed up using scales.
  • Ok thank you. I always rely on someone else putting all this info into the system lol!
  • I don’t even know why I wrote it out like that?! Been a long day. I want to be able to track it. It doesn’t come up on the site. Do I put it in based on 100g ? I’ve never had to enter something manually. And I’m not (obviously) thinking straight!
  • I love : tomato ketchup mixed into tuna with cucumber on toast / hard boiled eggs with tomato ketchup and cucumber/ sardines in tomato sauce on toast - BUT I hate tomatoes
  • @katnadreau I have a digital scale and I measure all things there. Liquid and solids. It has a water ML function, a milk ML function and grams.
  • I can do 15 mins on the cross trainer and it says I burn 100 cals. I’m not sure how accurate that is. I did do a mini made up circuit the other day in the gym as every weight machine was taken... I wear a Fitbit blaze which said I burnt 490 calories. Again. I’m not sure how accurate that is. That circuit included things…
  • Hey @MegaMooseEsq I hate cardio. I do it because it’s kind of engraved in you to do it. But I do despise it. I’ve been in the 1200 cal a day club and I hated it. I was always so hungry and food became so boring and I just binged it all back. I don’t have a program as such. I do train certain areas like chest, legs, arms…
  • It’s saying my maintenance cals are 2351 so for fat loss it’s saying 1851. So stick at 1851? I do measure everything. Literally everything. But I admit to there being times I’m eating 1200/1400 or sometimes even less. Can under eating cause a stall? So do I need to incorporate a decent amount of cardio? I’m planning on…
  • And just to say, I’m so tempted to pay a trainer to do me a meal plan but at £80 a month it’s a bit steep.
