  • This would have thrilled me! I enjoy healthy debate more than almost anything and LOVE grammar! {Yup...I'm a nerd :) }
  • I truly love this forum. :) Trust me, as a middle school teacher, I promise I used it properly! LOL It always surprises me to hear the small differences in language across the pond... I'm such a grammar nerd, I enjoyed the hell out of reading the last few comments! I just hope he's careful once he's back to school and is…
  • Thank you! Quiet and peaceful is all I ask for right now. :)
  • Done. ;) Thank you!
  • Thank you @Dragonwolf! That was a very helpful read and will be useful over the next few days. :)
  • I am so sorry you've had to deal with so much! That is a lot of stress. I hope that you're able to smoothly venture back into the LCHF waters, and the BB.com challenge sounds like a great way to kick some butt back into the fitness world! I'm fairly new to this group, but I've discovered how amazing everyone is! We're all…
  • This. It hurts my teeth just looking at it. *gag*
  • I understand that a lot. Only my children don't have any pictures of me. I've always refused to be in any. :( I feel so guilty now. I've been taking more pictures of us together recently, but that won't make up for the decade that I seem to be missing from their lives...
  • You'll get there. Getting physically healthy helps. This is a great place for support! <3
  • I heard of a new way and have recently been trying it. It's helping me hit my fat and protein goals for the day, and it tastes pretty good. I've switched it up a little and add my own twist to it. It's called Rocket Fuel Latte, you can Google it. It's cacao butter, hemp seeds, collagen powder, and MCT oil. I add a little…
  • Thank you! I've been here for years, I just took a long and much needed break and am starting again fresh. :)
  • That is how I LOVE all of my coffee...after my first BPC! ;-)
  • Thank you, everyone. For understanding and for allowing me to vent. I honestly think it bothers me more than him. I don't even know how he replies, now that I think about it. I got so fired up when he told me what they said that I didn't ask how he responded. Oops. I'll have to ask him tonight.
  • For the first time ever, I am my why. I have yo-yo dieted for more years than I care to count and my reasons for losing weight have always been other people or things. This time, I've done it for me. And, it's made all the difference. I've lost over fifteen pounds, I feel amazing, and I don't feel like it's something I…
  • I can't survive without having a book to read at all times! I'm about to start reading The Book Thief while I wait for a new book to release next month.
  • Maybe for you. When I increased my caloric intake from 1300 to 1500 calories, I started losing much faster. I guess it all depends on the person. B)
  • I have had two reactions that have mattered more than anything else. The first is my husband. I've dieted so many times in our many years together and he's never really said anything. But, this time I'm doing it for me, and my head is in the right place. Now, I've lost about 20lbs. and he's noticed. Last week, he told me…
  • I make Jigglers out of it and love it when I'm craving something sweet. It has never seemed to bother me or throw me out of ketosis. But, everyone is different. My husband has started this WOE and he likes SF Jello with some whipped cream as an evening snack if he needs something sweet.
  • THIS. I have tried to lose weight so many times. People just assume I'll fail again. So I don't want them to know I'm even trying. The difference is, this time I'm doing it for ME. I have a completely different outlook now...for the first time ever.
  • This. For me, it's not eating. I've been good about eating well and not going off plan. But, it's working out. Once I stop, it takes major event to get me going again. I haven't exercised in weeks right now because I had a few really bad days - emotionally - and then I just couldn't get motivated again. I have my own…
  • I think if you're losing weight with what you're doing now, keep doing it. B) Congrats on your weight loss so far!!
  • I gained about 65 pounds during my first pregnancy, but I had preeclampsia and swelled up like a balloon during my last month. My second pregnancy, I had just finished losing about 70 pounds when I got pregnant and then turned around and gained about 80 pounds while pregnant. I didn't eat like a cow or anything during my…
  • I forgot all about something like meditation/sleep music!! Thank you, guys! <3
  • I love it! I've never added cream to it, though...I may try that tomorrow. I use Kerrygold butter and MCT oil. I just ordered some items for a "Rocket Fuel Latte" recipe I discovered yesterday that includes the MCT oil, cacao butter, hemp hearts, and collagen. It sounded interesting enough for me to try out!
  • Thank you, everyone! I'm going to look into some of these suggestions that I was not already previously aware of. Many of them, I was, but not all. I do have to be up early in the morning for my children, so sleeping later in the day won't work, unfortunately. :-/
  • Thank you! This September we'll be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, I look forward to doing so as a much smaller and healthier couple! B)
