  • I just opened up the Garmin Connect app, on the mobile on the front page is a button to share data with myfitnesspal.   • On the flip side, if you feel your calorie in is very low, increase your calorie out by walking every day. It gives you a lot more leeway to eat what you enjoy eating.
  • We had a guy at work lose a lot of weight over a year purely by just walking 15000 steps a day and counting calories. I used to go to the gym but I don't anymore.   • Wow.. thanks for the super quick replies. I'll be sure to log items separately now and use the phrase USDA. I hope my breakfast cereals are accurate. That would be a big pain to enter all those ingredients in separately :)
  • Like Jenilla above said, running outside on concrete paths at least is hard on the joints without proper running shoes. Running/walking on trails is much easier. I can run barefoot on the treadmill but after 30 mins I have to stop as my soles start to get hot, so the treadmill is easier on the joints. On the flip side, the…
