On Monday I visited my grandma for her birthday, even though she’s celebrating tomorrow I didn’t want her to be alone on her actual birthday. We drank our body weights in tea and had a wonderful long chat. So blessed to still have her in my life. On Tuesday I got together with my best friend and had dinner at a new vegan…

So 2 days ago my self-care of the day was dying my hair. I haven’t done anything with my hair in over 7 years (besides cutting split ends) so this was great, decided to go to a salon & got a great head massage, had a nice chat with my hairdresser & we drank half a bottle of champaigne so I’m not complaining :))

So inspired by all these posts! I’m a bit bummed that I missed the start of this, but I also started my diet on a friday so I’mnjoining in & looking forward to continue in November! Monday I went to yoga for the first time in 4 years and felt insanely relaxed and energized after it. For dinner I made pumpkin cream soup,…

Try eating at least at a 200-300 cal deficit apart from training. Or - if you really like carbs, look into a high carb low fat vegan diet. It actually worked for me as 4years ago I managed to drop 55pounds just by changing my diet, without any exercise at all.

I'm here for support whenever you feel you need it :)

Thank you. You are so right. During the past 4 years I've kept setting mental weight-loss deadlines for all the wrong reasons. If I had an event coming up, I decided to lose weight to fit into a dress or look good in photos. It of course never happened. The learning is that nothing superficial is worth anything, but you…

Thank you so much. I plan to lose a total of 55 pounds by mid april, which would mean about a kg/2.2pounds per week. I don't think it's impossible or even strict to be honest, but of course I am taking it one day at a time, just trying to stick to my calorie and weightloss targets. My ultimate goal is to set myself into a…

Hi fellow tall lady! I am also 5'9", and because of being tall I feel the weightloss is not as prominent at first, so it's kind of tricky for us to notice a big difference. I was in denial for a.long time. I'm currently at 198 and I want to lose 55.pounds. Would love a weightloss buddy on here :)

Thank you ao much. You are absolutely right, we're basically biologically hardwired to take care of others, but this should never translate into ignoring our own needs. At the end of the day, we need to be at piece with ourselves and our lives in order to nurture helathy and meaningful relationships with others. Really…

Thank you. We can do this!

@kittens_info lol right? 5'10" too, want to lose 55 more pounds. The problem at least for me is that weight tends to sneak up on me like a mofo. I gain very proportionally, a bit everywhere and it adds up. My SW was 207 and when I started telling people I was on a diet they were baffled and told me they don't think I'm…

5'10" here. Starting weight was 207, down to 199. Goal weight 143, so I have 56 more pounds to lose this year. I'm 24 and an art director which means I sit on my bum mostly all day and work 12+ hours so scheduling workouts is a *kitten*, so I try to squeeze in exercise into my routine. Between walking to and from work and…

My goal is also 60 pounds, haven't set a date yet. I was at my heaviest in March at 207 ( first time I say this number, feels so liberating!
