  • I'm sorry, I thought I replied to this and realized I must have clicked "preview" instead. What sorts of exercises can strengthen the back? Thank you very much for that information, because I didn't know a weak back could do that.
  • These exercises weren't given to me by anyone, I saw it on television so I'm trying it out. I have severe depression and lately I have been unable to get out of bed for more than a few minutes. I was given exercises to do by my nutritionist but they all require me to be standing up.
  • The stairs at school that I lost my breath on are about equal to two of my home staircases, so today I walked up and down my stairs four times.   • Wow, thanks for the many replies everyone! I can actually walk a couple miles without any issues, as long as it's on flat ground. I think I'll try to move onto climbing stairs and working up how much I can climb. Thank you so much for the suggestions :)
