Day 6- I'm doing well with food choices but I'm in the day 6- I just want a nap camp! Everything feels like it's an effort- at this point, from past experience, my challenge has always been the first week. Making it through that, I have no doubt what so ever, I can get through the 30 days.

Day 3 and I feel energetic and strong. My meals are on point and my mood is good. In the past my down fall has been between day 4 and day 7 Admittedly, I already eat Paleo so I'm not coming from a standard American diet Last night I made a Paleo Taco Skillet with hoememade Taco seasonings and because I wanted Sour Cream…

I'm hoping to see if I notice any changes by eliminating dairy. I've been following a mostly Paleo/Primal template and eating local and in season, high quality foods and still struggle with weight. So it's time to see if eating dairy and sometimes legumes, are working against me. I'm not really concerned as I feel more…

If you google Whole30- you will find details about the program. They have a book too but the book isn't needed unless you want it. One can reset how they eat and that will often change the body. Their are plenty of examples of people who ate crap and felt like crap and then changed their diet and literally changed their…

Hi, my name is Lisa and I just turned 50. I live in Boston MA. I'm here because for the 2nd time, my weight has hit over 300lbs! I hit my highest in March weighing in at 352lb. What saddens me is about 5 years back, I hit 326 and said- no more so through Atkins and eventually Paleo, I lost 99lbs. Clearly, I gained it back…

Is it possible 2,000 calories were too low? I ask because if calories are too low, the body will protect itself from starving and hold onto every bit. With chips, CICO might not be the same as the salt might actually make you retain water and that would affect the scale--so I guess it might be worth looking at how many…

Sorry for your loss! You're right, it is a scary wake up call. As I approached 50 in March- my son, who is 26, has always feared me having a heart attack- not sure why, but as 50 got close- I started to worry and like you, decided, I couldn't continue to be unhealthy! Would love to cheer and support you! You have a lot to…
