I am just here commenting to save for later. I do not have any running apps to recommend as I myself have only just started running. And boy, it is something I must 'learn to love'.

Keep going until it's safe and comfortable for you. Also, do NOT rush it and lose it too fast. That only leads to different problems. Previous posters have already given you some good advice so I am just here to cheer you on! :D <3

Wow, you look WAYYYY too young!

I use it since almost 3+ years now. It has done wonders for my body, my blood sugar, my pregnancy, hair, nails, face, energy, bloating, etc. :) When I stop using it because I ran out, or just don't feel like it, I can really feel the drastic drop in energy, bloating, and pimples from way back in high school come back for a…

Good on you for starting on your 'homemade yogurt' journey. Believe it or not, it's the easiest thing to make and yet there will be times when you just don't feel like it. Lol! I do it how my mum used to it... which is to add half a tsp (or sometimes a whole tsp) to a good 4-5 cups of boiled --> cooled to slightly above…

I am Canadian but I got nothing to add. :'( Keep 'em coming! This is going to be on my next shopping list. I did not know about the 'potato bread' at all!

Wife: I look old, fat, and ugly! I really need you to pay me a compliment. Hubby: Your eyesight is damn near perfect!

Do you fully cook the steel cut oats the night before? I prefer steel cut but so far I have not seen any 'put in fridge over night' type recipe for it.

First of all, here are some hugs --> XXXXXXX I am in the same boat as you and trying to lose 30 lbs. This is the heaviest that I have ever been also! As another PP mentioned, I also take it one week at a time, instead of day to day. And I try to weigh myself every 2 weeks, instead of every week. This helps, and even though…

I keep telling myself I will start taking the stairs up at least 10 floors once, but I don't. :'(
-
Interesting! And what does it do?
-
I am only 5 feet and weigh 135.7 lbs. (as of last week). I have a desk job in a 'one floor' office (so it's not like I can do any variation of stair master). And no regimented working out just yet. I want to get my diet in order. I started my diet at 1200 calories per day, two weeks ago. Most days I do make it below that…

Amen!

This! I did this a few years ago and had stellar results. For a full month and a half, all I did was watch what I ate, though not always clean, but counting calories properly. I put on a few over the last couple of years (after baby), and I am doing this same thing again before starting the gym so I can lose the weight,…

Great job, Dragona! Just remember not to overdo it. There was one time when I was on the treadmill (at around 7 or 8 months preggo) and my heart rate went so high that I got dizzy! So always be careful and don't push your limits! ;)

LOL!

Eyeballing is not a bad idea if you are true to yourself. Back in the day, I did not know about MFP. So I did the next best thing and just 'eyeballed' my portions, and ate as well as I possibly could (but not always 'clean'.) Then a couple of weeks later, I started writing down what I was eating, and approximately how much…

No name "celebrities" promoting the product.

For me, 1) There is a long break in my regiment (3+ days), I start thinking, "That's it! This isn't going to work!" Then I start getting a little lax. 2) I am going through tough times and do not have time/will to cook at home, and suddenly those happy meals start to look inviting.

Hands down the most difficult, cheapest, and most effective!

That is exactly what I thought as well. :#

Here with a 2 year old at 35 years age. I have no idea how to send a friend request.

Are you just working on eating right now or also exercising? (I am focusing on just the former for the next few weeks.)
-
I was just going through the old posts and I found a new link to the same workout because the link above stopped working: goldsgym.com/challenge14/2011-05/workout-burn-350calories-10easy-steps2.html These are all good, however, I cannot see myself doing any of these at work because people constantly walk by my desk and I…

Hi! Did the pedal exercising help?

Here, use this calculator: calculator.net/protein-calculator.html And remember to subtract the protein calories from your daily caloric intake!

I do not believe I have GI issues. But I did have some inexplicable problems in that area for many years that went away with ACV. And it also took care of my gassy problems and tiredness. It is not an easy thing to drink. I started using it twice (rarely thrice) a day in Nov 2013. I stopped for long periods of time in…

If it's bad weather, or you simply cannot go outside because of kids, then make sure the treadmill is inclined a bit. Or play around with the settings throughout the walk to imitate the various inclines in the real world. Aside from just the inclines, the real world walk also incorporates different terrains (smooth…

This! This was the most difficult (yet so straight-forward) piece of information for me to understand. I have seen someone lose weight at work without hitting the gym but by just eating pizza and this is their mantra.

Shakes worked for me because I made them with protein and I was dedicated to them as a 'breakfast only' item. My lunches were uncontrolled but calorie-counted. But my dinners were very controlled. This was a while back and it worked well. I did go through a couple of weeks of shakes ONLY (made by me with protein) when I…
