@Nawarti ! Thank you for the motivation! That's what I need right now. Yes! No turning back now!
-
Thank you @TorrizzleWillSizzle between these pictures just 1 month and 11pounds :-). It was pleasing to see the difference as in clothes I hadn't noticed much.
-
@Nawarti :-) thank you! I'll stick to it this time.

@leecha14 Thanks! between this pictures just 11pounds :-). As I was very sedentary in the last year, I've started with classes (it's my first month back exercising) so spinning (3x a week, circuits 2x, body pump 1x plus my regular yoga practice 3x).

Thank you @meberle53959! I have a long way yet. But I'm going to make it this time!
-
Haha I'll try! I've put a reminder on my phone.

It looks like you've lost more! And lovely smile too! Great work!

Me too! My first picture was taken 3 weeks after I started. Maybe we could start a tread of picture (monthly or weekly) accountability? @clancanes_martin I felt really motivated today.

Same here. 45 and want to get to know more people for support and accountability. Add me :-)

If you are concerned about hypothyroidism see your doctor ask for a comprehensive blood test. I went untreated for years because my TSH was "in range" and struggle as well with being undertreated for 7 years. The tests they usually recommend are TSH, T3, RT3, FT4, and the antibodies. Vitamins ferritin, vitamin D, B12 are…

8 pounds in a month? I think for MFP standards this an aggressive losing rate.

I also couldn't control myself in my PMDD (worse than PMS). My doctor has prescribed me B6 vitamin to be taken from day 12 to 26 of my cycle, primrose oil capsules. We are treating my anemia as well. It really helped. Since starting low carb as well last two months I got nothing! No pain, not irritable and no cravings. I…

One week is just adjustment. It took me three weeks so see 1lb go. I felt discouraged but kept going. I'm at 52 days in the process now. 13lg gone. Patience. Consistency. Meticulous logging + measuring with a scale.

CICO+ a way of eating that feels natural to you, personally. Something you can see yourself doing for life, not something that feels like a diet, a chore or that you are depriving yourself.

I really liked all what the previous posters have written. I'd say stop thinking of yourself as hopeless. You're strong. You came here and was brave enough to ask for help. This is huge. Now breathe and read what people have written about their own experience. We can learn from others, but end of the day your experience is…

Mine used to be awful. I'd be in bed for at least two days. My GP prescribed B6 high potency from day 12 to day 26. Ive started using the cup Fleur and can't explain but the cramps have gone. And the cycle is 4 days instead of 7! I'm a cup convert.

Great work!!!

Three weeks 19 pounds!!! Wow congratulations!

So glad to read this post today. Since I've started, on May 20th, I got high every morning with losing mist days. Then last Thursday nothing. And yesterday 2 pound gain. I felt discouraged and doubt myself. Then looked at what I've logged, my exercise and I've been really meticulous about everything. So can't be weight…

I'd like to have more friends too!

It's about what fits your individual needs. I've tried a few diets before, and struggled for most of my life with binge and emotional eating. 47 days ago I started LCHF and my insulin is balanced (no naps after lunch) or comatose states during working hours, I feel full all the time and some days struggle to reach my…

It took me 3 weeks to start losing. Each person is different. Just keep logging everything and exercising. Patience and consistency are key.

@rickywillis00 I go through these sometimes. When I first started took me 3 weeks to see any results. Last 4 days no change in weight. Im trying to keep focused and thinking: im eating properly, under/around my calories and exercise. Doing my part. And trusting the process
