  • This is my sentiment about returning to work as a high school science teacher in a rural county school. It was a very rough week for me, and “ I'd say I'm glad it's over but I'm pretty sure it will start back up on Monday.”😟😔🙁😫😩
  • Rachelrjh Friday Pw: 144 lbs. CW: 142 lbs.
  • This has been quoted on here before, but it resonates so well with me, and it’s how I lost weight. “Weight loss doesn’t begin in the gym with a dumbbell; it starts in your head with a decision.” - Tony Sorenson.
  • Hi Kaken21, Take it one day at a time. Don’t give up because you failed at weight loss the day before. That was always my problem for about three years before I joined this group. What makes the difference is deciding you really want it and sticking to eating healthy and tracking ur calories. I did it from Jan to June…
  • Hi new members. I’m Rachel, team motivator. I’ve been a member of the team since January. It’s helped me to stay on track with my diet. I’m a high school science teacher. We start back tomorrow morning for our first day back since summer break so I’m going to keep this short so I can hit the sack. I’ve also been married…
  • Hi, you will have to look at the excel sheet to look up that info. There are six teams, but I couldn’t tell you how many members.

  • I never knew that a cross-stitch could be that intricate. It’s amazing!
  • This resonates. I need to change my thinking… I believe I can stay fit and healthy, and I believe I can be the best teacher I can be.
  • @sandielewis2001 you are beautiful in your before and after pic. I like your hair change in the after pic and you look healthier and happier. the tattoo of the dog on you upper leg is pretty. I want to get my first tattoo, but I can’t think of a design. Did you design that yourself?
  • Way to go @melaniedscott , @ha110w33nsp00k , and @IDebraK at placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd for our team! @pacsnc6 Amazing artwork! I love the painting! I’d love to see more of your work.
  • I’m going to be away from checking the app this weekend, but I hope my before and after pics motivate you to make the change. I’m so glad I did. The image below is six months difference.
  • It’s possible to get healthy, but you have to make the decision to do it.
  • Rachelrjh Friday weigh in Pw: 146 Cw: 145 lbs. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
  • Good job on the loss @dbrinkmeyer. Sleeping is so very important and cannot be underestimated. I weigh in tomorrow and I’m thinking I’ll be at my July goal of 145 lbs this week and 144 lbs by the end of next week. I am close to my ultimate weight loss goal of 132 pounds (22 BMI). It took me a while to determine my goal…
  • It is good that you know what your triggers are. The hard part is controlling them. I start teaching next week and a month after that I teach nights at the local college too. Sleeping is not going to be good for me.
  • Vacation is over. Time to get back to a good eating and exercise routine. Good job to everyone who has been staying in the green!

  • @minstrelofsarcasm Here is an image of the body metrics that my $25 scale reads for me. Do you think this is similar to the scan you get at the gym or should I pay to have it done at the doctor? My goal is to get my body fat to 24%. I’m thinking I’ll need to lose another 15-20 pounds for that to happen?
  • Everyone is doing so great! I’ve been reading, but not posting as much. The holiday weekend was fun. A lot of the fun for me was going off my diet. I worked hard January thru May losing those 50 pounds so that’s how I’m justifying it. I still have a goal to lose those last 15-20 pounds so the indulgence stops today!!! My…
  • @rachelrjh Friday PW:147.4 CW:149 lbs. July weight loss goals: My goal is to get down to 144 pounds by week 5! And to stay in the green for the next four weeks! I’ve been eating too many calories including too much sweets. I guess you can say I’m off my diet since I’ve been overeating my calories everyday for a couple…
  • I recommend this weeks challenge. I am struggling with my sugar addiction. I have huge cravings after I eat dinner and supper. I am going to use this reflection board to try and stave off the cravings. If I can say no for two weeks, I know they will go away. Anyone else going through this?
  • Great work steppers! When I start back teaching in August I’ll join you guys in the steps completion. I plan to do more walking around campus and less of sitting. Welcome Kait! @Kaken21 You have a great attitude. I’m confident you will lose your 100 pounds! Keep focused and it melts off. I’ve lost 50 lbs. in six months.…
