My non-scale goal is to stay committed to this process: strength training 3x week, sprinting 2x, longer jog 1x... mobility & stability work to keep healing up my injuries... eating mostly veggies, protein and healthy fats & being moderate with anything else I want to have... using positive thinking every day for…

I like this consistency idea. This is super. Me too!

Hi guys, just catching up... I'm making bacon-wrapped roast cabbage and thinking of you all. We had a bunch of good sheet pan meals this week. I got a new 3/4 sheet pan and it's been mind-blowing how much fun roasting big batches of veggies can be! Hope everyone's well! ... if a little tired. I'm ready for bed myself and…

Sending good thoughts. That’s a great mentality even though you’re going through this.

My daughter makes a Greek yogurt cheesecake every week and I’ve mentioned this recipe to her. Time to try it! What protein powder did you use?

Here’s a fun one. I’m feeling better about myself all around and it’s helping me let my hair down - literally. I’ve quit blow-drying and I’m rocking my natural frizzy waves. Frees up a lot of time to not blow-dry. This is about so much more than the scale. It’s about feeling good again. Yes! Less stuff = more time for...…

^ super run! Especially post-illness. I have a similar 5k goal right now :)

Today’s been a good day... Iight work day, an extra gym sesh, multitasked with some online study while on the elliptical. I don’t have to cook tonight because I’m staying late at the office. Hoping for Greek takeout!

Nice idea for a thread! Are you using emojis? Heard those mess with posting.

Challenge SW 133.9 GW 125 or Recomp Wk1 132.2 -1.8 Wk2 131.5 -0.7 Wk3 131.1 -0.4 A positive thought I had this week: “this is fun.” Healthy meal: grilled marinated chicken with skillet blistered green beans & cherry tomatoes. Awesome! In January I got so angry at my teenage daughter when she took a belt of mine and punched a hole in it to make it smaller for her (who borrows stuff and alters it?!). Now this week I’m laughing because that notch is not even making my belt tight enough. Gotta keep at it here! The belly is going but the booty…

I do great with water at work and in the car. I have two huge Blender Bottles that I chug from all day. Once I’m home though, I could care less about drinking water. Strange, no? Trying to change this habit.

I’m down a jeans size! My mood has been more stable too and I’m feeling less tired and cranky (on my better paleo days especially).
-
Bought new jeans yesterday and I’m down a size. I also sold a bunch of old clothing at a resale shop yesterday. My closet is almost pared down to a very small “capsule” wardrobe of things that fit well. And... I’m trying out a clothing rental service this month! I really want to find my style again. I’ve been hiding in…

Could be your body holding water from starting up workouts again. Glad you’re back at it! Oh the crazy weather! Where are you, spring?

Challenge SW 133.9 GW 125 or Recomp Wk1 132.2 -1.8 Wk2 131.5 - 0.7 Positive thought: I know what my body needs to lean out. This deficit is temporary if I can stay on track. Healthy snack: Raw almonds. They’re so boring. Boring foods keep cravings under control if I’m really hungry between meals. A workout: Strong Curves…

I wasn’t eating keto on IF. Lots of carbs! I lost a lot of weight and kept it off. It sounds like a lot of fun to get those keto results, I’m tempted to try it. I think I love a high volume of veggies too much.

I eat potatoes occasionally. I think they’re a great carb source for my kids so I make them weekly. I might have half a potato couple of times a month myself. I’m also a French fry thief unless I’m totally on-track. The Whole30 crew amended their program to include white potatoes. I forget the reasoning. But I’m glad for…

Hiya! Catching up with all your posts. I’m liking these food ideas. Asian chicken salad made with slaw is a great idea @madwells1. Congrats on everyone’s losses. Nice to be back on track. @eve70 yum. What cut of pork do you like and how long do you cook it? @curltess033 your sugar detox is inspiring me. I can avoid sugar…

These are awesome! Saw a convo on someone’s wall about comparisons a while ago and something clicked for me then... I noticed I was also comparing myself to myself (old body, future body, the “what-if?” body). What a trap, it’s been so nice to feel that habit melting away.

I wore some pre-preg work pants yesterday, the second-smallest of my old jeans. So nice to feel these old favorites, with plenty of room to move around in.

@sdaphnie three amazing victories, so great! When is your wedding?

Great goal. I’m ok with my current weight although I want to have less fat and more strength. So I chose to maintain my current weight for this challenge. If I drop some weight that would be great, I’d love to sit at 125 lbs, but the pressure of being in a deficit especially while trying to get stronger was sabotaging my…

I’m a former IF-fer. I loved it. I lost and kept off 20 lbs with it in my late 20s. It taught me to be comfortable with hunger; that food tastes better on an empty stomach; that there is a time to stop eating. Fast forward to post-baby and joining MFP last spring. I found an IF group. I learned IF isn’t magical, success…

Challenge SW 133.9 GW 125 or Recomp Wk1 132.2 -1.8 A positive thought I had this week: “I yam what I yam.” I gave myself official permission to maintain, to recomp if that’s what my body wants to do. And lost almost two pounds by just being good to myself. And logging religiously. A healthy snack: 10 raw almonds when I was…

I’ve been doing pretty well, logging everything, and the 80/20 mentality is helping me. I’m committed to eating fabulously 80% of the time. If I want junk food I ask myself if it’s really worth it. But I’m allowed. And what I’m allowed is limited. I’ve dropped two pounds of bloat this week since getting back on track.…

Nicole 5’6 SW 142 UGW 125-130 or 20%BF Challenge SW 133.9 Hi all, sorry I missed intros and hope I can stay in the group. Happy Week 1. I’m an orthopedic massage therapist near Boston MA and I like trail running; I’m also doing my second round of the beginner Strong Curves program. I decided my goals are going to be BF%…

I’m going to get back on track, starting today. I have to be really strict with myself at first to start feeling good, so that the healthier choices become more automatic. So today I’m giving it 100%.
-
I have been really enjoying the junk food my family prefers. Also whole milk Greek yogurt and feta. I have not even come close to 80% paleo like my body seems to like. But I’ve got to get back on track. My body is in revolt! I’m thinking of a seven-day reset 100% paleo. Do I feel gross enough to really do it? Ha. Well, I…
