For sure. But I tend to listen to my body as well, which is perhaps a more reliable source of cues than a five-minute consultation with an entirely uninterested doctor.

Let's not forget the food consumed after a few drinks to soak up the alcohol. That'll add a few hundred more kcal into the mix.
