Exactly! When my cravings are particularly strong and I start thinking, "I'm sure I can get past the minty taste", I remind myself that I'd have to brush my teeth all over again and it doesn't just seem worth it.

For me, it wasn't advice as such, it was when my boyfriend said, "we can get cake if we go for a walk first." If I'm craving snacks in the evening but don't have calories for them, I'll brush my teeth earlier than usual. This works for me because nothing tastes that great after you've brushed your teeth because the mint flavour is so strong. Yeah, I agree. It was photos like this from a friend's wedding that triggered my weight loss attempts before. I lost 3st, and found that I still hated pictures of myself, so I know it goes beyond simply losing weight, but I'm working on it all and hope that the combination of my efforts will reap rewards. :)
