Mine is open to friends. I have been logging consistently for 160 days.

I log every day, even my rare cheat days (though they usually take the form of a 'quick add' entry of calories if it's a takeout/restaurant that doesn't publish nutritional info for their menu)

Broghies, which are like puffed wheat crackers. I have been experimenting with different toppings - scrambled eggs, tuna and cucumber mayo, melted cheese with garlic, chicken caesar salad, nutella chocolate spread. Dipped them in chicken soup too. Very versatile and just 19 calories, 4 g of carbs and 0 g of fat and sugar!

Currently 212 lbs working towards 140 lbs, which I'm aiming to achieve by June 2019. My short term goal is to weigh 190 lbs by this June.
-
Try adding a few friends who are also aiming for 1200 calories a day so you can view their food diaries for meal inspiration

I'm having Chinese at the weekend. I'm thinking I'll have 200 g of pork fried rice, 1 piece of prawn toast, 2 crispy wontons and a chicken spring roll. I figure that will be my daily allowance of calories (will do a 'quick add' entry for 1200 cals) but if that's an underestimation I should hopefully still be under my…

I was laying in bed with my partner last night and he couldn't stop stroking my hip bones lol

Bananas are about 1 calorie per gram so you could probably have a small banana/half a large one.

That this is what 5 lbs of fat looks like so don't be disheartened if you 'only' lose 5 lbs and be sure to celebrate every lb lost!
-
Aw that's cute!

Just got an invitation to a wedding this summer. I hope to be back down to 180 lbs by then, which would be my lowest weight since college.

I'm far from maintenance yet but I can't imagine I'll ever stop logging completely. I hope after a while I may be able to relax a bit, just logging every now and then to make sure I'm not letting bad habits creep back in. Also, if I have something I don't normally eat I would make sure to log that.
-
Absolutely. I've lost about 50 lbs but I'm not even half way to my goal yet. I knew I was fat too but I didn't realise just how bad things were, and looking back I have no idea how I could have been blind to it.

Just thought of another one... Brits would definitely raise an eyebrow if you called a 'bum bag' a 'fanny pack'.

Apparently they're similar. Scones have a higher ratio of fat to flour though and we serve them with sweet fillings like cream and jam. I don't think we have a true equivalent to biscuits.
-
And biscuits are cookies, tho we also have biscuits in the UK which are called cookies (usually chocolate chip)

Crisps are potato chips and chips are fries.

I've been using Fitocracy the last few days, it's much easier for me to log my strength training exercises on MFP when I stick to a pre-planned routine. In the past I have just winged it and then struggled to remember exactly how many reps/sets of each exercise I did.

I'll just be watching a movie at home and ordering a meal from a local takeaway with a Krispy Kreme doughnut for dessert... and I couldn't be more excited! :D

On the database search results page at the bottom it says 'Can't find what you're looking for? Add a food to the database' with a link to where you can create your own entry.

I'm 5'4 and 214 lbs, down from 262

The Grand Big Mac is 741 calories.

I had a cardigan which the sleeves were too tight on me last time I tried it on and now it fits fine. Also tried on a dress which I couldn't zip up last time but today I was able to. It's a little too snug across the chest area but I still feel it's a win!

My local Tesco finally has it out on the shelves, but the £2.50 offer finished already so back to full price.

I have a family celebration in March I would like to be 207 for.

I have just over 16 lbs to go... we can do this! :)

Exactly, I know factors such as height have an effect but it confuses me when someone says they started out at 1200 when they weighed about 260 lbs. I was given a calorie goal of 1360 when I joined and weighed close to 260 lbs. It only reduced to 1200 when I had gotten down to 228 lbs.

I got a cheap ring resizer on ebay, a clear spring-like device which you wrap around the band of your ring. It works really well.
