  • Nope, nope nope. Not to my taste. Way too veiny, way too little body fat and too buff. I prefer men like this Not too buff, not too cut, isn't found in the gym all day, but if they're wearing a short sleeved shirt and they raise their arm to pick something up you kind of can't help but stare. But like someone said before:…
  • For me the opposite is true as well. Before I would eat way too few calories and too many foods I thought were healthy but didn't actually help make me full (lettuce for example). I felt like if I wasn't hungry I wasn't doing it right. Now I can relax and eat without guilt and without having the feeling I need to be hungry…
  • I loved reading your comment since I can relate to it a lot. My stepmother is from Czech republic and when I was 18 and around 58 kg/127.8 lbs she told me I should probably start working out and lose some fat :D Most women are incredibly skinny over there. I myself live in the Netherlands, so we're practically neigbours! I…
  • Thank you for starting this thread. I have this goal as well, but also feel like you can't really say that anywhere on here. At 5'8" I would like to get to a VS-like lean/fit 121.3 lbs (18.5 on the bmi scale) from my out of shape 145 lbs now. I know this will probably take a really long time to achieve, but I don't mind so…
  • My neighbour likes to play darts for hours on end in our very thin-walled apartment complex and likes to walk as loud as possible while doing that, so that each time he walks back and forth (in the same rhythm over and OVER) I hear the bangs his heels produce. It kind of feels like that ancient chinese torturing method…
  • 24 here and trying to lose 8 kg / 17.6 lbs more. I lost 5.5 kg so far. Add me if you like!
  • Submitted for ravenclaw. This challenge is perfect. Can't wait!
  • Hey, that seems like a great idea. Add me if you like! 24 y/o here.
  • I personally have 2 smaller dinners like some people have 2 lunches. First at 6 I eat a protein smoothie with spinach and blueberries and then at 8:30 I'll have tofu rolls. I love both and it's so much more satisfying!
  • This can give you some idea of what you can eat. Just make sure to eat some vitamin c with your plant based iron and you're good to go. https://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/food-sources-of-iron.php
  • Wow, you actually counted 56 almonds instead of just weighing them? Maybe a better option next time ;p

  • Lol, not anymore. LOL. And I am much happier for it. Lol
  • I love almonds and eat them every day. Usually if I'm hungry before I'm done preparing my actual meal I'll nibble on 2-3 of them and have small chunks in my breakfast seed cookie. At the end of the day it's a really small amount, but they make the diet 10x better
  • Height: 5'8" / 173 cm Original starting weight: 158.7 lbs Starting Weight challenge: 150 lbs Goal weight on 6/22: 142 lbs 5/22: 150 lbs 5/29: 147.9 lbs 6/5: 147.7 lbs 6/12: 6/19: 6/22: Only a .2 drop this week, but I suppose that was to be expected after last weeks results. No cheat meals, but I also didn't work out a lot.
  • There's a ton of exercises you can do with just body weight. Just look up calisthenics on youtube and you'll see the physique and strength those guys have. I personally got really motivated by it.
  • Vegan since 3 days here! Not entirely whole food as I do throw a scoop of vegan protein powder through my smoothie and I'm not sure tofu and tempeh count? BUT I'm not eating junk food. Add me if you like, I'd be glad to have more vegan and vegetarians on my news feed (:
  • Are you prone to sleep walking and find yourself wondering about missing food often lately? ;)
  • I'm a low carb vegan and get around 60 fat, 60 carb and 100 gr of protein on a full day. I have garden of life Vanilla chai protein powder and actually like the taste of it through my spinach and berry smoothie. Red lentils have a relatively low amount of carbs to the amount of protein they have, so you might want to look…
  • That was amazing and hilarious. Mindkitten games are my favorite, so I'm going to have to buy this :# Another great one is machiavelli, but I'm pretty sure most people know that one.
  • Love this. Screaming for brains never gets old :D Edit: I have the zombie version of munchkin
  • Yess! I actually didn't know that specific show, but I love geek&sundry. So far mostly for their d&d games with matthew (critical role). If I ever get to play with a dungeon master like him I'll be eternally grateful. There are about 80(?) sessions so far, so it's a lot to catch up on xD Anyway, I just started watching the…
  • Thanks, you really showed what you're made of here (: That saves a lot of time. Good luck.
  • Then actually say that next time. Say what you mean, with the right words, so we can all be on the same page. I literally interpreted it like you said it, nothing more. I took the liberty of deleting the last sentence of that quote. You know, the very childish one you keep repeating the same gist of every post.
  • I don't have any problem with your appearance. Other people have mentioned all their nerdy behaviors. Posting pictures of cosplays they go in. You were they only one commenting about looking or not looking like a nerd. Thus, I commented on you (woow, surprise <- yes, I'm also starting to feel a bit annoyed). There's your…
  • I really don't know where you got that I said anything negative. Do we have a different definition of prejudice (any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable, neutral or unfavorable.)? I stand by my point, but I don't see how that is a problem to you.
  • Wow, you really managed to make a huge thing out of this. You must be fun at parties. Yes, there is the common image of nerds that they don't really care about what they look like because they have other priorities. The fact is that nerdy things have become pop culture, which lead to an enormous amout of people with huge…
  • "I may not look like a nerd but pretty much every tshirt I own has some kind of gaming logo on it." You do dress in 'nerd' fashion. "knows every line in all the Star Wars movies" This has nothing to do with appearance. "purple hair, a nose ring" Plenty of youngsters have this. This doesn't really relate to being a nerd.…
  • It was to me :)
  • I think 'looking like a nerd' is a pretty outdated concept nowadays. Sure, there are some that still fit the bill, but the majority are just regular people that also like looking good and don't fit in that outdated prejudice. Just needed to say something about that.
