  • Love it! I’m 37, have 3 kiddos (18,9,7) and have 20 pounds to lose. I work full time
  • I am 5'8 and 168 pounds, would also love to join a group.
  • Give it time & keep working out. Also make sure you’re drinking enough water. Enjoy aspen!! It’s one of my favorite places
  • Yesterday, half a thing of brownie ice cream. I don't know what triggered it and what stopped it was the ice cream running out. I felt like crap for the rest of the night.
  • Yes, my question was if calories could be processed differently. But what I am reading is that it could be because they have a more efficient metabolisms? So does that mean they are using the calories differently?
  • I took some time away from this post and watched my husband, who is one of these "naturally thin" folks I speak of....he moves a lot. At work he takes the stairs, is always moving his feet, etc. It was interesting.
  • It is ok and you can get back on track and know you are not alone. I fell off too and have put 18 pounds back on, at first I was sulking in that but now I am focusing on fixing it and getting back to where I was. Do you think you were being too restrictive? I think that is part of why I fell off so this time.
  • I don't know that I have pushed them out but I do notice I don't have as much time for them. Mainly because I don't have time for what we used to do -- like now I would rather go for a hike and grab a bite of dinner rather than go sit at a bar for happy hour
  • Coffee and two scrambled eggs with a fresh tomato
  • Will do! I have never heard of it so I'll ask.
  • I start with them next week so I'll make sure to ask a lot of questions. Thank you
  • Halo top. I've tried a few flavors and they taste terrible and make me feel like crap. I'd rather have a yasso coffee ice cream bar
  • You can certainly do it! Best of luck!
  • I should add I'm not doing anything without talking to them and will not utilizing any advice given here without asking them. The last thing I want to do is hurt myself. But I also would like to have a list of items to review so I can start moving more.
  • Also to add after reading some other comments -- when at work, could you set a timer for every 50 minutes to get up and go walk the stairs? Even every 90 minutes? Is there a gym at work you could use at lunch? And I know it sounds tough but you really may want to give mornings a shot.
  • For me it was when I realized I only had two pairs of pants left that fit, could grab handfuls of belly and saw a couple of full length pictures of myself in the background. Seeing myself standing in the background it was a lot easier to accept that I'm starting to look large. Plus both my sons have gotten excited because…
  • My favorite breakfast is scrambling two eggs in a pan with a little bit of butter and topping with fresh tomatoes and salt. I've also done overnight oats that are pretty good.
  • My kids are bit older now so can ride bikes so we also bike rides together- they can easily do 3 miles
  • I'm a mom of 3 and work full time so I did start waking up for 5am workout classes, I personally loved how I felt the rest of the day and it didn't take anything from my kids. If getting up early isn't your thing could you do a YouTube workout class before dinner, after the kids are in bed? Or with the kids? I do dance…
  • I think it is phenomenal you are losing weight and wanting to get in shape. And I am sorry your soon to be ex cheated. I would imagine right now you still have some anger and I don't blame you on that but to keep this up, my advice to you is to focus on YOU. YOU matter now, how YOU feel is what is most important. Good luck
  • Wanted to add but I do agree. I know if I stop and look at my in laws or my husband we may eat the same at dinner BUT they snack less during the day than I do.
  • I am going to sound like a creeper :D But I do get to observe quite a bit -- my husband and his siblings, plus parents are all thin, very thin. I do think part of what they do is eat only when actually hungry and tend to overeat less but not always.
  • Was also told once that once you have extra fat cells even if you lose the fat the cells are still there waiting to blow up again....?
  • Around me just about every woman I know is on some supplement from an MLM, so anytime they see me working out or eating better it becomes a sales pitch into whatever they use/sell. My favorite is the Advocare cleanse. I mentioned I'd rather not take anything, especially that much fiber and was told my body will never fully…
  • That! I am pretty sure this is coming on with age, which sucks but also is what it is. Now I am just sad that I moved to half & half in my coffee and my stomach is killing me today. The bloating is really painful
  • Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and I think is my issue. Ice cream, half & half, and cereal with milk certainly do it.
  • I've read a few other articles/reviews that say Fitbit is way over on calories. Not sure if it will get better the longer you have it though or if you can calibrate it.
  • I am so late to this thread but this is mine. I am so completely against this but cannot say that out loud to many people.
  • I never go off what the machine says, they all seem to be WAY too high. I did an hour spin class and the machine said I burned a little over 1000 calories -- I pushed myself but know that was way off.
  • I always think you have to test it out. I have my calories set low and then eat back what I workout. I use an Apple Watch, I'm not sure how accurate fitbits are. I'm 5'8, 171 pounds, 36 years old. My calories are set to 1350 and then I use exercise calories. And I'm with you, sometimes for the safety of others I eat over…
