Buy in bulk and meal prep. Plus I feel those .99 microwave meals don’t fill me up so that’s not helpful. Buy rice and beans in the larger bags, not canned or microwaveable. Also I buy frozen veggies. They last longer and are just as good. I also shop the sales. So if chicken is on sale that’s what I grab. Best of luck!

I am going to try this!

I have yet to try zoodles but have tried spaghetti squash and am just not a big fan. I would like to try to make my own paste here soon!

In his defense I’m sure living life being surrounded by people who makes mistakes is very difficult to those who never do I, on the other hand, could fill a book with my brain farts. I am also happy that I posted this and learned I can eat more than 8 noodles haha (Edit: to fix the lovely i issue from my iPhone)

To add I’ll just remain thankful for the ability to laugh at myself. This mistake doesn’t speak to my intelligence.

Couldn’t agree more.

The flu shot doesn’t prevent the stomach flu/rotavirus.
-
I get the shot every year. When my now 18 year old daughter was 3 we got the flu at the same time. I’ve never been so sick. We were in bed for nearly 2 weeks and I dropped 15 pounds. It was awful- i do think my immunity is up because of that illness but I’ll try to avoid ever having the flu again

Yeah, I am cracking up....I was like, 'seriously?! How does anyone ever eat pasta"
-
Someone else just pointed that out to me. I am dying laughing at myself

November 7 Exercise? Yes! Home workout Calories?: No :-( Tracked?: Yes I missed the last two days on accident and feel myself falling off the wagon. I refuse to do this!
-
I’ve only had a friend take it. She said it made really jittery and suppressed her appetite too much. She only took it for a week
-
Nice work! Thank you for sharing!!
-
I don’t have experience with either but wanted to wish you the best. You are taking a really important first step in reclaiming your life and health, it’s very admirable

November 4 Exercised?: Yes. Small workout this morning and house cleaning Calories?: Yes. Tracked?: Yes Today was hard. We had a funeral for my husbands uncle, it was a beautiful celebration of life and he was clearly very loved.

I like the grapefruit and the lime. I really disliked the orange. At work I use our soda machine and get plain soda water and add a splash of lemonade- it’s seriously the best but I can’t recreate it at home
-
Starting yesterday I keep also getting the pop-up that I need to give permissions in my health app. It’s annoying and wasn’t happening before

November 3 Exercised?: Yes. Walked today on lunch Calories?: Yes. Tracked?: Yes

Here is my screenshot

Are your steps being read from your watch or your phone? I had that issue before- was reading my phone

I’m a little late on this one but my husband & his siblings are all thin. He doesn’t always eat the best but has a pretty good diet overall. People think he’s naturally thin, I used to think so too, but it’s his lifestyle. Yesterday for example he came home and ate a burger, fries and large milkshake. The only other thing…

I still think that more of the population falls into those weight categories now than 60 years ago.

November 2 Exercised?: Yes! 10 minutes on the stair machine, 15 minutes of lower body, 10 minutes treadmill at 15 incline Calories?: Yes- I’m quite a bit under today Tracked?: Yes- all of it!! I’m feeling great today! Very motivated and hoping to see some scale movement this week

I am not familiar with FitBit but have had friends who used them and gained weight using their calorie outputs. I have also had friends say their FitBit said they burned 1100 calories in a hour workout class and personally I get the feeling they may overestimate calories. But that isn't based on any facts

It truly surprises me that it is so low. My personal, non-scientific observation where I live is that nearly everyone who is overweight or obese thinks they are a healthy weight.[/quote] Yes, I agree! And I am currently overweight -- when I tell people I want to lose weight I normally hear why or that I will get 'too thin'…
-
This is another example of trying to justify that too many people are obese and make companies cater to it cause its “the average population” IMO, the question shouldn’t be how the park needs to be more fair but how can we can change the average population?
-
Do you weigh your food? I just got a scale recently and I feel like my life has changed- now I want one to keep at work. But for example I wanted this dip and a serving size was 2 tablespoons (30 grams), so I took out a tablespoon and grabbed one scoop. Came out to 33 grams! I would’ve used 2 scoops for my serving and…

Ahhh I wrote this whole thing and lost it. Anyways, is it MFP giving the 200 calories? I find that MFP reads less calories from my watch than what the watch says- I attached screenshots, they are from the same day. When I weigh and log and use the Apple Watch calorie estimates I do lose weight.
