I eat dessert daily. Normally a few squares of chocolate, or a chocolate or caramel yoghurt. Sometimes a greek yoghurt with chocolate protein powder. If it is in your cals it won't impede your weight loss!

The great thing about having lost weight before is you KNOW this works. You KNOW you can do this, you've already done it. You know if you put in the work you'll get the results. When you think about how you lost the weight before don't let it make you feel bad, just think, done it before, will do it again! Good luck x

Congratulations on your awesome achievement! Don't worry about celebrating! Go for a walk later, drink lots of water. Make healthy choices for today. And STOP beating your self up. There will be many reasons in the future to drink beer, and eat cake. It's not the once off's that make us healthy or unhealthy, it's the days…

Oh look a great chance to drop some pounds - ie as many as he weighs! Your partner should want you to be fit and healthy, so they get to keep you longer. That's it. Drop this loser asap and find someone who will support you and deserve you - not give you ultimatums about what you look like! X

You look amazing, what a freaking babe! Well done!

I'm 5'5, down from 145 pounds to 136. Goal is maintenance between 130 and 125. I previously used mfp and got down to 115 but it was too low for me. I have more muscle than average :)

Thirding the recommendation to use happy scale - it saved my sanity!

Yes! It took me a while to learn "hunger is not an emergancy". I used I almost panic at the first signs of hunger, and always expect to feel full. Feeling hungry before you eat & btwn meals is fine, normal, and makes food even better (the French have a saying "the banquet is in the first bite" basically meaning you…

I find people who say stuff like this tend to have their own frustrations/insecurities about their weight and health. They want you to eat like them to normalise their own behaviour, make them feel better about themselves etc. I am fairly straight forward person so I tend to smile at these comments and say "isn't it one of…

I weigh and stay chill about it. I use an app that tracks your weight loss trend instead of any one day (I can gain a kilo from eating a burger the night before that's not really there). It smoothes out fluctuations so any random spikes and drops aren't a big deal!

Calorie dense foods - avocado, peanut butter, nuts, Greek yoghurt, olive oil, cheese! Is there any way you could incorporate resistance training into your exercise regime? I lift weights and it made a dramatic difference to my appetite, I am ravenous the day after I lift!

139 here (heading for 130) - 5'5 My measurements are 36 27 40 Although where do you measure your hips? Around my actual hip bones is 34, but I measure around the biggest part of my butt. I've always had a bubble butt naturally, and then I started squatting! I like my butt but all I want right now is to wear high waisted…

Get some sweet beats to listen to while you run. Make sure you're eating enough to sustain your new running life. Maybe see if you can find a friend to do C25K with, so you can meet each day to run (less chance you'll skip it). Know it's ok if you don't progress exactly in line with the program. A couple of times I found…

Bumping for later but also questions... I'm probably going to reach the upper threshold of my maintenance weight in a month or so. I then plan to slowly increase my cals to maintenance. I previously lost weight on mfp but failed to log in maintenance - which led to putting it back on. So I'm determined to keep logging.…

^^This is awesome. Works for some, not for others, each to their own!

Wow! This is one of the most dramatic transformations that I've seen. You look incredible!! So awesome x

Two weeks progress - an inch off each my waist, tummy pooch, hips and booty!

As long as you're eating your goal calories it doesn't matter when you eat them :)
-
That is amazing - you look fantastic! Well done!

Awesome work! Keep it up :)

Do gloves help at all with grip strength? I am finding I have to put the bar down when dead lifting cause my wrists/forearms/hands hurt, not my legs...I'm pretty sure my grip is good, the weight is just too much on my hands...

Everyone has already said your weight fluctuates - worry about the trend - as a real life e.g. Monday my weight was up 2 pounds (from last weigh in), yesterday it was down four pounds (from last weigh in, so 6 pounds from monday!).

I weigh myself daily. I use an app called 'Happy Scale' that smooths out my weight trends. So I can do this without making myself crazy, and I use my weight changes on a monthly basis to decide if I need get a bigger deficit, stay as a I am or if I can eat a little more. I also measure with a measuring tape, take pics and…

At least you tried again right!

I had taken a skirt out of mywork rotation as it put too much pressure on my waist. Wearing it today and it's loose!

Fantastic! You look great! Well done!

Bumping for future inspiration - and future success pic sharing!

I'm 5'5 and weigh around 140. I've been much slimmer, my lowest being 115. I came here to lose a few pounds - maybe to 130. But the more I exercise and treat my body right the more I like it, even though my weight hasn't shifted that much, I'm contemplating just staying put and keeping the exercise and healthier food up!

I recently downloaded the app "happy scale" - I log my weight with it every day and it smooths out the trend. I've been really surprised how much my weight goes up and down! I only have ten pounds to lose so a 1 pound fluctuation can obliterate my whole weeks work. Happy scale is helping me to see these as normal and that…

Ok thanks team - to the professionals I go!
