SW: 162.1 PW1: 161.3 PW2: 161.3 PW3: 160.2 CW: 160.3 Man. The past week has been a struggle with the non-stop pizza parties. Happy scale trend lines still looking good. Slow and steady.

Bionicpuffy Weigh In Day: Monday SW: 162.1 PW1: 161.3 CW: 161.3 No loss! But that is OK-- I am very sore this morning from a long hike yesterday, and so I am surprised that it is not higher! I tend to weigh more on days after a hard work out.

Hello team! This morning was my official weigh in. Bionicpuffy Weigh In Day: Monday PW: 162.1 CW: 161.3 My rolling average according to my Happy Scale App is 0.65 lbs lost per week. This is great, as my goal is 0.5. and welcome @BlueSkyNomad !

Hello again Shrinking Assets! I joined the group in September, had a few bumps but was trending in the right direction. I'll log my first official weigh in tomorrow, as I weigh in on Mondays. Congrats to SA teammates and winners last month. Great to be back for October.

I weighed myself today, as it is the last day of the month, even though I usually weigh myself on Mondays. Weigh in day: Monday SW: 163 PW1:162.5 PW2: 164.2 PW3; 162.2 PW 4: 162.8 Current and Final end of September Weight: 162.1 Yay! I've also been using a weight averager app - Happy Scale- and I dig it. The average is…

bionicpuffy Weigh in day: Monday SW: 163 PW1:162.5 PW2: 164.2 PW3; 162.2 CW: 162.8 Well, I feel like I'm almost back where I started this month! lol. But there are many NSV- I am feeling better, my clothes are fitting better, and I'm just less "blah" feeling.

Will we need to re-sign up to be on Shrinking Assets?

Congrats at hitting your goal, @PatriceFitnessPal ! And @chublet25 , this is ALL ABOUT BRAGGING!! Brag away! You deserve it and serve as an inspiration to others! I've been weighing myself every morning I have noticed that I definitely get a heavier reading the morning after a hard barre work out. So I have noticed the…

About the bodpod- it has up to 3% error. That's not nothing, but it isn't bad. What I would do if I were OP (and did myself when I was concentrating on muscle building and fat loss a while ago), is to get a bodpod measurement now to see what it says. It will probably, based on what you've said, say that you're in the…

Another suggestion is to get your burger or sandwich without mayonnaise or cheese. Those add a lot of calories that I don't find I really miss if they're removed.
-
Well said, @PatriceFitnessPal !

bionicpuffy Weigh in day: Monday SW: 163 PW1:162.5 PW2: 164.2 CW; 162.2 Whew! Glad to see this going in the right direction again!
-
@PatriceFitnessPal -- What a great update! Congrats!
-
@Be_theBest_Me LOL I feel like I could use a bit of strong criticism, too!
-
@PatriceFitnessPal Yes, that is true about muscle soreness and I do think I have some of that going on. Upon reflection, I also see that I have been doing a lot of "cheats" here and there - putting milk in my morning coffee, eating errant candy while at work, eating until full rather that satiated.

bionicpuffy Weigh in day: Monday SW: 163 PW:162.5 CW: 164.2 (!!) I ... I can't believe it and I am disappointed. I think I need to recalibrate my eating. I haven't been following any sort of diet plan, other than IF for 14 hours a day. So, maybe I need to dial in the eating more. On the plus side, my exercising has really…

Ack! My weigh in day is today, but I had a scale malfunction this morning (ran out of batteries)! I'll post my weigh in tomorrow instead.
-
Looks like you had a great week, @cre804 ! It can be hard to get back into the groove, but it you'll get there. I also wanted to give a shout out to @PatriceFitnessPal , @LaurieWrobo , and @labellasu for being so diligent in their habit tracking.
-
A very NSV today. I woke up this morning and I felt svelt. My clothes seemed to fit better and everything. Got on the scale... zero pounds lost! But I feel great!
-
Phooey, I’ve been between-meal snacking (something I’m trying to stop) both yesterday AND today. Definitely need to get back on track with this one.
-
@coblujay - Congrats on hitting the 220s!
-
You can do it! They say that slow and steady loss produces the best long-term success. I know, I know, I should heed my own advice. It's hard! But worth it.
-
You are totally right and you've hit on a big stumbling block for me-- wanting to see IMMEDIATE and RAPID results, when the fact of the matter is slow and steady is the way to go. On a different note, after at least a week of no snacking between meals, I failed spectacularly today and had a bunch of delicious halloween…

I was disappointed with today's weigh in, too, @TheMrWobbly. I've been doing so well this week! Anyway, here's my info: bionicpuffy Weigh in day: Monday PW: 163 CW:162.5

Teammates- I want to give a shout out to the habit tracker google sheet! (It is linked toward the beginning of this thread.) I'be been using it this week and like seeing all of the checkmarks. :) Highly recommend and thank you to whomever set it up. ~bionic

Hello! I'm bionicpuffy, a 42 year old parent of 2 living in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Happy to be part of team Shrinking Assets BionicPuffy Weigh-in day is Monday PW: 163 CW: 161.5 The PW and CW is only a difference of 2 days-- I think the fluctuation was due to a big dinner the night before my PW and a lot of muscle…

I like to add black beans to a tortilla soup. This week I made black bean burgers for the first time, as my 9 year old has declared is is now a vegetarian. They turned out pretty well! I used a recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction for the burgers (minus the cheese as I did not have any on hand).
-
Carla- I am with you! Nutrition/overeating is definitely what is holding me back, too. I enjoy exercise but ... I also enjoy sweets, lol. :) I'd like to add you, and feel free to add me, too!
