Week 12, day 3 behind me. The program will take a notch up next time as it will be only two running segments with 1 min walk in between. And next week is all about changes as the time will be going up every time. Then week 14 is 60 min jog :open_mouth: all along. Definitely a big mental jump dropping that 1 min walk.

I completed yesterday week 12, day 2. It's going okay - I am slow but I really don't mind, I am just really happy that I can keep on going the whole time - that's amazing! Right now I can do 8 km within the program so I am still far from getting 10K in 60 mins like seems to be the goal of the program. And not long that I…

Week 11 day 1 done. This run didn't go well. I tried a new route and got lost. This just bugged me so much that I lost my motivation.. and also, hills -_-. So I walked a large part of the second 17 min jog. But I did jog almost all of the 5 min cool down walk to make up for it. And today would have been the 5K race I was…

Week 10 day 3 done! It is tough for me, no doubt about that but I feel so amazing after my runs :)
-
@eponine1984 - I am slow too but I don't mind. I just feel amazed by the distances/time I can cover. And I think getting faster comes later on - heck, before June this year I didn't jog/run AT ALL and thought that I can't do it.
-
@eleanorhawkins it is indeed amazing what we can accomplish. I still feel amazed after my runs, it feels like it can't be me who is doing this.

Week 10 day 1 done (which is 2nd week of 10K trainer after C25K). It was challenging but I finished it
-
I started it immediately. The 10K program is structured differently so I felt it was a great way to carry on. Just completed my first week on it.
-
Started the 10K trainer yesterday. Really liked the change of pace with 4x10 min jogs with 1 min walk in between. Felt good :) I also changed my regular route and part of the new route was uphill - it was tough but didn't stop.
-
Thinking to carry on straight with the 10K trainer. I've liked having this structure :) keeps me going.
-
Yay! I graduated yesterday! One big change happened for me during the last week. I stopped having the feeling that I can't do it, that it's really hard to keep on jogging around 30 mins. That feeling was there till the last week. Now I am looking at starting the 10K program :)

Week 8, day 2 today. Felt better than before running till the end, no last minute "exhaustion" or feeling like stopping. Happy about that  . Just one more run left!
-
Thank you for the tip, Angela! I was listening to this playlist today during my run  gave me a good pace.
-
I'd be interested in this too, been thinking about getting compression socks just for running.
-
I am getting close to finishing the program and feeling pretty excited about it. Yesterday it was week 8, day 1 for me. For me the difficult parts seems to be the first 3-5 mins of running - I feel so stiff and uncomfortable, trying to find a good pace. After that I enjoy the run, breathing is easy, legs feel fine until…

I still have last day of week 7 left plus week 8, can't believe I'm almost done. Still didn't sign up for the 5K race, there's time till the end of this month to sign up. It's a big event with 5K, 10K, half and full marathon. @TheGaudyMagpie I hope you're feeling better!
-
Week 7 day 1 for me today. I still feel like it can't be me doing this  yet I just keep on going and enjoy the music. And bang, jogged 25 mins straight - me who did not jog before this like ever. And within 35 mins (including the warmup and cool down walks, I covered 4,5 km. I am definitely feeling now that I am…

I am starting week 7.. and yes, started as a person who hadn't run before. And after completing week 5 I started to believe I can actually finish this :D.
-
Week 7 starts for me tomorrow. So intervals are now a thing of the past and now it's just increasing time :open_mouth: week 6 did go alright so I am not too scared but more amazed how far I've come. I also participated in a kids' mini marathon (1K) last weekend with my son. That was a tough 1K with a backpack on my back…

That's my week 6, day 1 run today. And indeed it's amazing to be part of this group, a group of runners!
-
My fave is Kelly Coffey-Meyer :)
-
That's it most likely. Thanks!

I don't understand why my messages keep on being cut :/
-
Woohoo! Did week 5, day 3 today - the 20 min run I've been dreading about
-
Did week 5, day 2 yesterday. 8 minutes felt long.. but I didn't stop. And time for that 20 min run tomorrow unless it rains all day like forecast is suggesting

I am back in action, woohoo! Completed week 4 again, and starting week 5 tomorrow (before the pain in my right foot, I got till week 5, day 1). Repeating week 4 went okay, first run was a bit slower but I took it easier. Second and third were same pace as before taking a break (my pace is around 8.30-9.00 mins / km,…

My foot is feeling better but I haven't tried any real exercise yet. I've been resting for a week now, trying to stay off my feet as much as I can. So I do realize feeling pain free might be just due to no exercise. But it makes me wonder already if I can jump back where I left off (completed week 5, day one last Friday)…
-
Yep, trying to stay off my feet at least today, as even walking hurts :/. I just hate setbacks like this as exercise is the thing that keeps me going and feeling good.

That's great news @tinkerbellang83 :) Now my ankle or something right below it is acting up. Did a new weight workout yesterday and I feel like I might have done something wrong there -_- When I went for a walk later it started hurting. I was thinking to do my week 5 day 2 run today but might have to delay that if my ankle…
