I dont think I have a great knowledge of exercise, but give it time & im sure someone will have a good answer for you. Sounds like you have plenty of equipment, just make a start, even if its only a few minutes. I read through other peoples questions on MFP and someone had suggested Walk a Mile at home on Utube. Good if…

Hi. I am a 45yr lady and am a couch potato also. At the begining of May I weighed 212 pounds and I am 5"1. My diet until then consisted of take aways a few times a week, cheesels, sweets & chocolate with home cooked meals in between including desserts like cheescake ice cream & soda. I don't work because of health issues &…

Interesting @Nony_mouse, I've stared clear of protein bars & the like beacause I assumed they would be too high in cals & therefore only for really active people who would easily burn it off. Will have to take a better look! :-)

Freezing meals is a great idea. My health is not great & there are times when I just can't cope so having something prepared would be really helpful. My husband steps in & cooks. He enjoys it. Lastnight he made a fish pie but it did take a lot of my days kjs. Tasty tho :-)

Thanks for your input.. there is nothing worse than staring into the pantry wondering, "What can I nibble on?"

@WendyLeigh1119 sounds delish! I have heard of eating raw broccoli & carrots but keep forgetting to try it.

Oh yes please @Nony_Mouse! :-) My hubby likes pumpkin soup too, tho not pumpkin... go figure! :-)
-
@Nony_Mouse hehe... I like KFC, McDonalds, Fish n Chips, and chocolate, (tho not together.) This time round I am not missing them. I guess I've just never been good a creating dishes. You know, meat & 3 vegie. Oh dear that sounds terrible! Im getting the feeling that cooking new foods & creating new dishes could have an…

@livingleanlivingclean yes I do get stuck in a rut thinking salads are tomato, cucumber, lettuce (green leafies), spring onion, greated carrot, maybe greated cheese, possibly with gherkin or egg on the side. Cooked vegies, nuts & seeds, bacon etc all sound yum! :-)

Thanks for the suggestions. Pintrest is a good idea. I've always wondered about Quinoa but have never tried it. Also, I don't work so I have acces to my kitchen, pantry & microwave. :-)
-
Oh thank you! Yum, yum! So many great suggestions! I will sit down & write out a few meals before the shop so I don't buy random stuff! :-)
-
You are doing so well, I don't know the answer but, don't give up... that's your challenge!.:-)
