Seeing as OP mentioned oat milk, it would imply that they don't consume dairy.

Being overweight has definitely been normalised in developed countries, but that doesn't mean it's inherently better than being a little underweight. While it's true that having a few spare pounds can be useful in case of a serious illness, that also has to be balanced against the increased risk of heart disease and…

No one would bat an eyelid if someone was 8 lbs overweight, I don't understand why being 8 lbs underweight is a big deal. Everyone's different.

My parents are doing this diet currently. It's going really well so far. Despite being only 800 cals the meals are really filling and tasty.
-
Thanks. As the title implies the 800 cal diet only lasts for 21 days before you move into a less restrictive intermittent fasting approach. Then after reaching gw, it changes to a Med style maintenance diet for long term.

Yes, this is the first time they've decided to do anything about their weight and I want them to succeed. I know it isn't the "MFP approved" diet, but the sooner they get the weight off the better. I don't want to lose my parents:/

Thanks, I've already read that thread. It's impossible to see a gp at the moment for anything. I can't tell them not to do it, they're all ready set on it.

My parents are going to start this diet next week. I feel like it's going to be a challenge because it's so drastically different from how they currently eat. They are both obese so I'm really glad they're doing something about their health, but I'm not looking to living with them while they do it! I'm going to join them…

I'd love to get involved with Chloe Tings workouts. I've tried them before and found them too difficult though, I think I need to build up my general fitness levels first. Good luck though!

I've gone (nearly) dairy free in the last month to reduce breakouts and when I have definately seen positive results. The hardest part was cutting out yogurt because I swear that used to make up 50% of my diet. I tried soya yogurt but it was gross and overpriced. I use vitalite dairy free spread on my toast and in cooking…

Because 3 meals and snacks should be enough. I don't think I should eat more than that

Alcohol or weed! :D

I can't eat at all the day after a heavy night :D

I eat fish and seafood but not meat, sorry probably should have made that clearer.

I usually eat three meals a day and snacks. I often have a slice of toast for breakfast and a smoothie with protein powder for a snack. I usually have either some sandwiches or some cous cous for lunch. Then I usually snack on some satsumas, some nuts and some sweets in the afternoon or evening. I usually food prep my…

Sometimes I'm hungry but just can't be bothered to eat, especially when I know I haven't got any good food in the house

Today's breakfast was a free cereal bar. If I have time I'll take some muesli and fruit to uni with me in my thermos and eat it either on bus or on campus.

I'm ok. My eating habits aren't disordered I was over thinking (like usual). I have lost weight recently (not good) and my sleeping pattern and appetite have been a bit screwed up (due to questionable lifestyle choices) but I'm starting to recover.

If it's more sustainable to produce than real meat, I'd eat it

Not everyone uses this app to lose weight

Because *kitten* happened

My bmi has always hovered on the border between underweight and normal. At the moment my bmi is 17.3. People seem to arguing that there's nothing wrong with being a little over the healthy bmi range so by that logic there's nothing wrong with being a little under the healthy bmi range.

AVC is actually really good for your skin. I use a toner made with 1 part AVC to 2 parts boiled water. It tightens your pores and respects your skins naturally acidic pH without drying your skin out.

Last year I made a nut roast on Christmas eve to take to the family gathering the next day. I just reheated it there an had it with all the veg and potatoes (and a cheeky bit of turkey gravy as I'm not a strict vegetarian and it was Christmas). It really wasn't that much hassle and it was super tasty, even my non…

I have nutrisport vegan unflavoured protein powder. It's a blend of pea, rice and soya protein. It was the cheapest one I could find on Amazon.

I think bacon is overrated.

Something has to die for me to keep living: whether that's a plant or an animal makes no difference to me morally. I just avoided meat because of all the greenhouse gases it produces.
-
I would eat your dead carcass without the slightest tinge of guilt.

I thought people used exercise as an excuse to avoid embarrassment about whatever happened the night before! :D
