It's fine in any amount that fits a balanced diet and meets your caloric needs. Just like using sugar or artificial sweeteners. Your body doesn't know the difference between them.

A naturopath is not an actual doctor. Green smoothie cleanses do nothing but make your wallet lighter. Eat a variety of foods within your caloric requirements, exercise, and live life. Not that difficult.

The "You should weigh" suggestions MFP generates at the end of the day should generally be ignored. They don't take into consideration general fluctuations in water weight, hormones, salt, travel, or any of the life things that impact weight fluctuation. A 1-2 lb loss per week is a healthy and sustainable rate for someone…

No. This is what people call starvation mode and it isn't a real thing.

Oh man thanks for catching my dumb typo.

You're probably going to fast. When starting to run you really need to slow down and then slow down even more. I swam competitively my entire life and through college and started running in grad school so I know the transition is awkward. But slowing down is really the best you can do even if you feel silly and like you…

I want to do the Cascade Crest 100 in 2020! Edited to add I want to be able to knock out 12 strict pull ups in a row by November.

Hillary's is a brand of frozen meat free products. You find these in the freezer section of the grocery store.

I wear the Ravenna for my training runs and they work very well for me. There was a period of transition that was generally uncomfortable when I switched to them from a lower profile neutral shoe (Brooks Ghost). I have very wide flat feet and have issues with ankle stability due to being a swimmer all of my childhood. The…

You cannot spot reduce. The only way to lose fat is to eat at a calorie deficit and lose weight overall.

It's Monday not Friday, right?

You don't need to avoid any food. All you need to do is follow your calorie guidelines set by MFP, WEIGH ALL OF YOUR FOOD, and live your life.

It would be best for you to start your own thread with this question instead of hijacking someone else's thread with an unrelated question.

Clue #1 "I dunno two cups of lentil soup for dinner" Clue #2 You've been asked numerous times if you use a scale and you haven't answered.
-
If you are not using a food scale to measure all of these things then you are eating more than you think and that is where your issues lie.

Didn't you post this yesterday? Not being negative about your success but it is against forum rules to repeatedly post the same thing.

Amenorrhea is a sign that you are severely underweight, malnourished, over exercising, and generally putting too much stress on your body. Follow your doctors instructions to gain weight and cut back your exercise.

Whatever I want. But I am an ovo-lacto vegetarian. So whatever I want while being conscious of hitting my protein and fiber goals and letting my carbs and fat fall where they may. A lot of beans, tofu, dark leafy veggies, eggs, potatoes, vegetarian cheese.

Quest Bars. Blegh. The sweetener and chalkiness is terrible I really don't understand the love for them. Shirataki noodles and kale. No thanks.

These shorts were a game changer for me. My thighs are generally fine on runs less than 5 miles but when I start logging more miles and it get warmer out I have issues. http://www.runningwarehouse.com/Brooks_Womens_Greenlight_7_Short_Tight/descpage-BWG7ST2.html Also I've had issues with Body Glide alone so I layer…

Yes, they do. I saw my NHS doctor (not a nurse) once a year for a wellness visit and to check on my perscription when I lived in the UK age 18-24. Something is not adding up here.

Pull sets with a pull buoy (please don't try to use paddles, you'll hurt yourself) Compound lifts, bent rows, strict OHP Pull ups & push ups Deck ups are always fun and a super uncomplicated way to add some strict upper body work too while in the pool. Here is an example. "http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ1tBho1Ohk…

Finish strong lifts and reassess strength goals after. Get in the water 3-4 times a week and average 3,000-5,000 meters per swim. And do more mobility work. I've been bad about this over the last year and I'm paying the price currently.

Homemade jalapeno pineapple bbq pizza and a slice of the cappuccino cake I made earlier.

Those techniques are called continuing to lose body fat in a sustainable manner until the muscle is able to show. There's no "spot toning" that will help if those areas are still covered in fat. Besides, as others have said, do you really want to deal with dress altering right before your wedding? That sounds awful.

I did. And if you read what I wrote you would see that I was looking at the Canadian website where it isn't a thing. So, miscommunication.
