Sometimes a girl needs a rest!! I needed something light to flush all the homemade bread I've been making out of my system!!!

I totally just gagged while laughing so hard. That is an impressive dish!!!

Homemade chicken soup today.

I track everything (or...have tried to). Note that the past two-three weeks (okay month) I have lied to myself a bit and haven't fully accounted for everything I ate...and I stepped on the scale today and WOWZA!! It's amazing how a few weeks of crummy food can really change my body and my mind. I kept saying ..."today is…

Yay, I am not the only one that has been eating crummy and keep saying 'today is the day' to try to get back to 80/20!!! Good luck to us!!!!

70's and 80's. By late 80's my mom switched us to really badly made tofu dishes and pounded to death venison fried in flour and butter. I cringe thinking about it. Or the 'rabbit' stew (i.e. crockpot rabbit smothered in cream of mushroom soup) that I used to be able to tolerate until I found out at one point it was…

Totally nailed my childhood right there. Add in some head cheese sandwiches instead of bolonga (think whole head of some farm animal boiling on stove and gelatinizing in bread pans) and this is why I have been in therapy for years!!

I came up with my own marinades. I don't particularly like to marinade steak as I buy nice prime dry aged rib eyes if I eat a steak, but I have done beef cubes depending on what I want. My favorite right now is Korean or Jerk, which I use on chicken mostly, but can easily be used on beef. Korean (so one of my favorite)!!…

As soon as possible. I always have yo-yo'd never thinking about ramifications if something didn't fit as I had sizes ranging a broad spectrum. If something started to get snug, I would just size up. Note that I was so crazy that I had the SAME clothes in different sizes. I noticed that once I actually ditched all the…

I make my own mayo, BBQ, ketchup, all marinades (think korean, jerk, etc), and ranch dressing. Note that for ranch, my ranch is non-paleo as I use homemade greek yogurt and the whey from it as the base as I don't have issues with yogurt.

My espresso maker.

I fell off the wagon the past two months and have been eating lots of homemade bread. I need to get back to it as the bread makes me really bloated and yucky feeling. Why does it taste so good!!!! Agree with you completely that it makes me feel totally different.

Totally had this ^^ for breakfast, and even splurged on fresh cherry preserves with the salted butter!!!! My tummy is sooo happy! Note to self: Stop making bread for awhile after this is all gone as my relatively healthy balanced diet has turned into carbs (bread) and fat (butter)!!

Dinner: a fresh baguette from the oven (first attempt at these ever so I am happy they turned out--even shaped funny)! Well worth the calories today!

Chicken tikka. Major fail though. I make this all the time and it is always perfect, but this time I got tied up in a few things and forgot it was finished and left it in the instant pot too long. Major sadness because when I finally opened it up (think over an hour after it was done), the chicken was so dry! I have now…

I'm not a baker and can't screw this up, so I am totally psyched I found this recipe: https://www.jocooks.com/recipes/no-knead-bread/ Haven't screwed it up yet. I try not to eat that much bread, but when I want it, I now make it because it is sooo easy!!!

Pan Seared Korean Salmon on a bed of riced broccoli, and homemade dutch oven crusty bread (had to do it)!

Only if its crispy on a baked sweet potato. Other than that, for some reason I just can't do it. The dog likes it though :D

My freezer is also always full of chicken bone broth (homemade) and I honestly don't know what I would do without it! Today I made roasted tomato soup with it. Some other ideas that I always do: * Chicken soup * Curries * Broccoli cauliflower soup * Braising liquid in my instant pot for any type of meat (corned beef,…

I thought this was really cute: http://www.worthpinning.com/2014/04/bunny-head-fresh-fruit-platter.html Don't forget the pot of chocolate fondue and toothpicks of course!!

I have totally been on a corned beef kick the past few weeks as it has been on sale! I want to try to make pastrami with the corned beef (bought another one and is in the freezer), but don't have a smoker. Anyone ever try making their own pastrami without a smoker? Would liquid smoke and putting it in the oven after the IP…

I'm making bone broth right now. Made oxtail stew (korean) two days ago, another corned beef four days ago. Korean chicken last night (again due to the vast amounts of chili powder I have, and did a pot of great northern beans at some point during the past week. Mine's definitely not broken :D

Two words: Bone Broth.
-
Make beans with it. Yum.

I laughed out loud at this.
