Hi Jon. I have a congenital heart defect and will be looking at a heart transplant in my future. I need/want to lose weight so I can be healthy enough when that time comes! I have just started with MFP this week. Good luck to you!! ::)

I have a congenital heart defect (TGA) I cannot do strenuous exercise. Mostly walking which makes weight loss slow. Some days I feel strong enough to exercise, other days not so much.

I had the Lap Band surgery 7 years ago. Originally lost 75lb in the first year, kept it off for a few years and have gradually gained 35 of it back. Time to get serious again and get this extra weight off. Surgery is still the best decision I have made, for my health, and would do it again in a heartbeat
