This is what I am trying to say. People that are overweight dont care about LBM. If they lose fat and there muscles start showing then they cant start worrying about recomps. Let them get to that point without the discouraging remarks.

So much this. My arms have gone from 12 to 13.75 while my waist has shrunk 8 inches. In a big deficit the first month not so much the second month. My weight had been steady for the past 2 weeks as i think I am eating close to my mainetence on most days. But my belly is still getting thinner, just very slowly now.

Yes I am. I went fron 43 to 35 inch waist in 2 months. Abd made significabt strebgth gains in all my lifts. When i plateau also my only course of action will be recomp. But I aint there yet.

Stop talking about a recomp to new people. You may be at a stage where thats the only way. But for bew people its not the only way to lose fat and gain muscle.

You have to track the calories you eat while you are losing. Then up them when you want to start maintaing.

Baggy shorts are baggy shorts. It doesnt change my belly. The place is the same just door is closed all the way that mirror is slightly moved. The glasses dont really change anything fat wise and my wife hates the moustache so it gone. Lol

I average around 1400. With your math i burn 576 calories at 181lbs from fat stores a day. Buts me at like -800 calories a day. Over the past 42 days I have lost 28.2 lbs. Which comes out to being 2352 calories in tge negative everyday. Once I get to around 15% body fat I plan on upping my calories sloely to maintain that…

My workouts and job as a fireman havent suffered. My weight has continued to drop as you can see it was mainly from my belly. Fat doesnt drop where it wants it drops as a percentage. And the greatest area is mostly my belly. So that is where I am going to see it.
